no please dont karma you are totally right ....i am trying to look at it as saving money towards other things like the reflexology etc that way i can provide more services and eventually once i have done everything i want to (this will take time) i will put the money towards other things ...so essentially for me i will be looking at saving not making and i will sit down and decide how much i want to charge discounts for friends etc

well i have been to bed and got up again ...i have started (yet again) to take readings from the gas and electricity for the last three weeks i have managed to cut the electricity usage down by a bit by simple things but mainly by being more aware i think ...the gas has came down as well so i am quite happy ...just need to stay on top of it now so that it stays that way ...gas has came down by 0.5 unit which isnt much(but i am only using 2 units a week just now so not too bad) but the electricity is down by 16 units approx from 62 units a week

That is excellent - books are always far more expensive than you expect.....so to get them for free is very :j :j :j :j

Great news on the books - really helpful start. I'm with Karma on the charging and I *really* like her way of thinking about it (thanks Karma!). I have some qualms about charging for dog training - not so much classes and courses but the sessions where people are in a real mess and both they and the dog need help! I like the charging for time, professionalism, room but not for me! Think though in the end people value what they pay for more - reasonable rates - with some mechanism for giving access to those who really can't afford it - seems the way to go.
