rich i'm honestly so sorry it turned out the way it did the pressure really mustve been immense for you...i'm glad though you have managed to draw a line under it now ...

time for an update i spent £20.01 on diesel yesterday and have started to spend on my stooze credit card so far i have stoozed £80 (diesel and other spends for my plan) but i cant blanace transfer online so i will have to go into the bank and pay it over the counter and i dont know if i will get time today which is really frustrating ....but i am not risking not doing it as i could easily forget ...i will also pay off some of the money we borrowed for the car to get fixed ...not much but a start and proof we plan on paying it off soonish ..

other than that nothing much has changed well except hubby has managed to stay off the drink i am honestly so proud of him he is in torture i can actually feel his disc in his back sticking out but he is determined he isnt going to drink for the month ...

i am night shift this weekend and doing a night shift over time on monday as well but then i am off for a fortnight from my first job ....i should hear today if i have a job with my second one but nothing so far infact i have recieved a text asking me to work more hours and come in earlier you just cant make the incompetancy of this place up ...

right my plan that has been hatching ...

on saturday i was driving home from overtime from job no1 and i thought el you cant do this much more you are killing yourself (had this particular conversation many times with myself now) and i wondered how i can make money or save money ...now i have issues taking money from people for doing reiki as i feel it is a gift and i shouldnt take money (i'm weird i know) but coming home from the overtime shift i realised that if i started charging for reiki and other things i have got planned it would allow me to go for other courses that i fancy like reflexology,aromatherapy,indian head massage and my current course hypnotherapy N.L.P and motivation ...now i am currently paying for these courses and they are expensive i am doing them for personal development more than anything because personal development is very important to me ...however i am having to do them at a slow pace due to finances etc ...if i start my own business and start charging people then i can go on the other courses and it will help me finance my way through uni ...so there you have it my plan .....

i am also going to do this squares idea of hypno's my debt seems to be not spiralling out of control but slowly creeping out of control again i will have a plan organised for that over the weekend whilst i am night shift ...i seem to forget all about the overdraft ...which is where most of my debt is and seem to just plod along with it


i would like to say a HUGE thankyou to the person that helped me with the ideas and advice for my plan i would say who you are but am aware i havnt asked your permission to do this ....but thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help ...and i would like to add a HUGE thank you also to my angel who is practical and supportive and suggestive and makes me think out of the box and get there ...i'm so glad of the day you p.med me offering your help

In four years I may even be debt free and doing what I really want - could do with being fit too. Would love to do something like that - how long do you reckon it would take?

Good plan El. I understand the thing about charging for Reiki - but most people actually want to give you something back - and of course you still have the choice not to charge if people really can't afford to pay.

i'm not sure miz about 6-8 weeks everything is still under discussion so please feel free to join in with the plans

that is next on my list for buying to be honest rich ...i have been looking for some though....i am determined i am not getting into debt to do this as well so it has to be when i have money lol

Tho I don't do reiki, I had to work through the whole thing about charging... the conclusion I reached, is that people pay (and they pay a good whack) for my time and my professionalism. In London they also pay for the room I rent. They *don't* pay for me, my thoughts and feelings, I'm free. Some people have a sliding scale. I don't, I have a certain number of reduced rate places. And for one or two people I've gone as low as 10% of my normal charge, to make sure they could still afford to come along.

Thats the charging policy that I'm comfortable with, tho its taken me a long time to be able to make that statement - you'll reach your own, of course, but just for starters - if you don't charge for the reiki, you won't be able to offer it, because you'll be too busy working at jobs numbers one and two!
