Thanks
ok after looking that Aussie's recipe mine is almost identical but half the amounts though it has 1/2 as much coconut and 1/2 as much bicarb and my butter is not in cups but says 2 oz is that the equivalent to 1/2 a cup?
i am going to make some more then freeze half and see if it works will let you know if the frozen ones are ok.
also going to rewrite my recipe with AussiesStill TryingGrocery challenge July 2016

ahhhhhh now does brown or white sugar make a difference to the sweetness?
as Aussies says brown sugar but my recipe just said sugar so i used white granulated.Still TryingGrocery challenge July 2016

Brown sugar is nicer. Makes them that gorgeous brown tanned colour and not that insipid white [STRIKE]scottish[/STRIKE] colour.

Delia's choc-gingers were a bit too hard and didn't spread much during cooking. Not as moreish as the Anzacs and more fiddly to make. But, on the upside -I haven't eaten them all

That surprises me - mine are soft and spread out well. I'll post a pic when I'm back from w*** (if there are any left)
