Lamingtons are little square cakes, dipped in chocolate icing and then desiccated coconut. They are an Australian speciality apparently but, according to a little book I have called Favourite Shakespeare Country Recipes Leamingtons (as in Leamington Spa) are 'flat sponge cake topped with chocolate icing and coconut cut into squares and is a Warwickshire recipe'. What do you say to that eh Aussie ? :p:D

Blimey!!! It's going to be buns at 20 paces when Aussie sees this :eek::eek:

Phar Lap was a race horse that became more famous for having a heart weighing something like 6kg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phar_Lap
