Thank you for the cat crunchie Pigpen - much appreciated - but not as appreciated as a dog biscuit would have been.

The bookcase behind the door is there for a reason - it is quite simply because there's no where else to put it!

Its context will become apparent tomorrow....

    List-tastic:

[STRIKE]- get school bag, PE kit and wellies ready for DS back to school
    - get swimming stuff ready for DD swim lesson
    - packed lunches[/STRIKE]
    - sort shoes and coat to return to Asda
[STRIKE]- DS maths homework of numbering and sorting toys
    - DS maths homework of counting and sorting cuboid boxes
    - DS maths homework of counting out money to buy something
    - pay Asda credit card
    - post Anniversary card for M&D
    - post gym fees for kids
    - send payment to window cleaner
    - AutoAid membership
    - legal cover fees
    - organise £4 for DS school trip to Pizza Hut
    - HHI
    [/STRIKE]
    - HHE
    [STRIKE]
    - sort out purse
    - catch up bit more on the old threads
    [/STRIKE]

    Also done:
popped to Asda for few bits
monitored DD in respect of potty all day
DS maths homework of counting and guessing steps
DS maths homework of matching clocks
    put wash on
    sorted out spare room cupboard

I got loads done but I am shattered. Amazing how much I can achieve when DH away. ZCosI don;t have his mess to clear up behind him LOL.
Managed to get all Ds outstanding Maths homework done. Its optional and he finds it easy really but his writing is dreadful so we are using it as a way to practice his writing more than anything. He's only 4 so it was very labour intensive and took all day. They are supposed to hand out one little activity a week but for some reason we got 5 of them lumped together in the last 2 weeks of last term. Anyway they are done now, I'm very proud of him, he worked really hard today.

DD has done well with the potty today, couple of accidents but way more successes so thats good enough for me :D

LO has been very sweet. She has learned to nod her head so has been like a little nodding dog all day, very cute. Just love her to bits :D

Just got to try and find a photo of DS on his stabiliser-free bike on hols and print it out for show and tell tomorrow :D

    I love my kids :D:D:D

JillD you're sounding so much more positive which is lovely. Well done to all 3 of your little ones :)

Been hunting all day for DS1s home school diary, then realised he was sent home just after getting there the Thursday before they finished for the hols and didn't go back, so it's still in school, doh :o
One day I might be more organised...........

Phew, Pigpen, I'm glad I'm not QUITE old enough to be your Mum.

I have a problem with the base of my right thumb. It's giving me gip and has little red marks all over it. I think I must have got a tad too close to the cactus on the south windowledge when I opened the window earlier today to help the paint dry. Off to find the hand cream and try and get all the tiny cactus needles out....

Hoping you all have a good night's sleep.
