HI everyone!:hello:
I've taken hours catching up, and now I can't remember everything I wanted to say! I think I'll just send best wishes to you all.
We had a very nice day in St Omer yesterday. I haven't been there for years, and couldn't remember what it was like, but we'll definitely be going back another day. Unfortunately, it rained the entire day, which spoilt it a bit. We left earlier than intended as we were cold and wet, but there was some hold up at passport control, so we couldn't get an earlier train back. DD was feeling a little fragile, but it was quite a relaxing day. She's feeling a bit better now, and actually eating more. She has been telling us so much about her trip - they packed a huge amount into the time they were there, no wonder she's totally shattered. Yes, dusty, she was extremely pleased to be back in her own bed!
I haven't done any flying at all - so really shouldn't be posting.I'll just have to resolve to do better next week. On the plus side, the allotment is looking good, and DS1 has finished and printed off his coursework ready to hand in tomorrow!! Now I have to draw up revision programmes with each of them, and the worst bit, make him do the work... I have him doing a GCSE, AS and A2, DD is doing her GCSE's and DS2 has SAT's. I'll be a nervous wreck by the end of June...
Pink Fairy - that's is so sad. Why do some families behave like that with their children? Is it possible for her to ask her bank or building society not to allow any withdrawals until she's sixteen? It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Believe me - they're not night piccies....done on my old 110 vivitar camera and mostly out of focus and grainy. I've since improved.... I think!!:rotfl:

I'm in ....but I'm off to bed NOW. I've got a cracking headache that feels like someone is using a pneumatic (spelling?) drill on my skull! I took 4 sleeping tablets before (maximum does of natural ones...I'm not overdosing honestly :rotfl: ) and they've kicked in. I don't care that the house is a mess, I don't care that last night curry and rice are still sitting in the kitchen. I will deal with it all tomorrow I'm just too damn tired ATM
Night all :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Evening all I'm in now I've finished playing catch up for this week - funny how I still never got to the kids rooms.
Mudbath - way to go on the accounts
Polly big hug for you
Pink, whether or not they gave her the money once it is in her name it is hers otherwise it has tax implications from the revenue of them putting money in her name. Surely the social must be aware that kids are only going to tell them a bit of what is going on?
Michelle hugs to you. Please don't think of having your new little one of the end of a chance for family time together, it is just the start of new family time. Men often find the end of women's pregnancies really scarey, the thought of the labour, how they will cope with a new baby in the house, how they will go down the pecking order another step. If you had the baby tomorrow all those things on your list would have to be done after the baby was born, or scrubbed from the list. Take it easy, rest, enjoy your last few weeks as a mum of one xx
Right Sunday night is usually ironing night but I have 3 pairs of troussers which need hemming urgently so I am doing that instead.
Lovely morning planned with two friends at a garden centre tomorrow - my friend is getting me an epimedium as a belated birthday present (they weren't in the nursery in February) and we may just need to stop for tea and cakes. Also need to food shop tomorrow so flying will be late in the day.
Smoke alarms PIGPEN GET IT BACK UP THIS WEEK the firemen are coming round to do a safety check and recommended that if your kids have tvs/computers etc in their bedrooms (mine don't only cd players which I switch off at the mains at nigh) then there should be a smoke alarm in each bedroom. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Right, i am in and will do what i can while waddling around chasing the boy.
Though i have promised my sister i will take DS to play with his cousin for some of tomorrow which will hopefully make my life easier as he won't be here messing my house up, and she will probably feed him his lunch so less washing up to do, and i will just have to help entertain the boys, and talk to my sister and dad.
dusty probably didn't explain myself right. I know it isn't the end of family time, but it will be the end of nice time with just DS getting our full focus, and we will regain balance, but i think it is important for DS to have nice time with us now rather than be shunted round. He has already suffered for weeks while the decorating saga has been going on IYSWIM as in all he wants is his daddy, and he has had to put up with tired and grumpy mummy. Plus i know what people are like for wanting to visit when the baby is here, so it may be a while before it is just us 4.

Tiddles has also decided she wants to wear school uniform like the others.. that should be.. interesting.. she is a right grot and keeps getting covered in paint and felt pens and alsorts so it might be a good idea!
