DS has just been on the phone to his GF. OH and DD were round there earlier as we had a table in their summer house and we needed to move it. DD said that GF came into the room and no one even spoke to her (both parents and brother)! I so wish I could just go and get her and tell her she doesn't need to go back anymore. She is so in need of love and attention, apart from the fact that she is ill. I'm filling up just thinking of how she was when we had to take her home yesterday. Apparently, she told DS, her parents have decided what they are going to do with her DLA! (They had previously said they would use it for a holiday!!!) I said that if she leaves home, it goes with her. It actually constitutes financial abuse if they misappropriate her money without her express agreement. Sadly she will agree, just so it doesn't cause another argument. I am so angry about this. :mad: Short of kidnapping, any suggestions welcome. She was very restrained in what she said to Social Services when they saw her last week, so that didn't go very far. She still hasn't been given her mobile phone back and her father has also taken her bank book and been taking money from her account. I suppose they would argue that they gave it to her in the first place. If ever parents were responsible for driving a child away from them, they would take the Oscar for it. The trouble is I don't think they even realise how bad she is feeling. They seem oblivious.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Thanks for the dog biscuit pigpen - did I tell you i'd finished my accounts?:rotfl: .
DH has just bought 20 boxes down from the attic. So far i've filled two bin bags with total carp, 3 boxes for car boot and one picture to keep :rotfl: . I'm being ruthless. I've just chucked my 10000 word dissertation from my third year at university along with most of my assignments. They're 20 years old and i'm never going to look at them again. I've also managed to get a crate of photographs down to about 100 pictures. I've kept the ones of family, friends and pets (lol) and chucked most of the 100 pictures of each view from holidays when I was about 12! :rotfl: . I also found four brand new photo albums so i'm going to put the photos in albums. Found our old nursery curtains - they only fit a small window but were sooooo sweet with little teddy bears on. It takes me back.
My list for tomorrow;

I'm in again this week after nearly 3 weeks sunning in Florida. I can't beleive how hot it is there at the moment (upper 80s)- it's not usually that bad at this time of year.
Don't worry though I did have to do some cleaning whilst I was there but only because I won't pay our management company to do a spring clean when I always go at least once a year and it only takes a day.
Still back in the real world my house is a complete state - the kids have spent all weekend flitting from one thing to the next and leaving devestation behind them. Still they are back at school tomorrow so I can get back on top of it.
Heres to a good week everyone.0 -

Mudbath - I don't want to encourage you to keep "junk" but any scene/nice pictures I have, I put in card mounts for birthday cards, thank you cards etc.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
