Cheap Smell-alikes - Cheaper alternatives to Expensive Perfumes

I'm also just coming to the end of my 'Black XS' bought for me by my brother - was nice but not entirely my style. Does anyone know of a perfume that smells like grapefruit? love the smell, considering just buing the PP oil 'grapefruit'.

The 3 strongest notes in Far Away are vanilla, coconut and peach. The only other perfume I can find with the same 3 main notes is Purr by Katy Perry. You could try that one to start with but if you're trying to find a replacement for Far Away I don't think you'll find one. FA is so cheap anyway that its not worth copying IYSWIM.

Perfumes with grapefruit.....a heavy grapefruit note is something you'd find mainly in men's fragrance (I don't know why) but there are plenty of lovely citrussy women's fragrances. The best IMHO are Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana and Be Delicious by DKNY (the latter does have grapefruit).

Pamplelune by Guerlain (part of the Aqua Allegoria range) is pure grapefruit.

True but its quite hard to find in the shops and its expensive too. I was trying to give :money: advice, and indicate perfumes that have oils or other smell-a-likes available

Yes, I have done a quick look for Pamplelune and haven't been able to find it at least locally.

PP do both 'Purr' and 'Light Blue' smellalikes, so think I will give them a try.

Years ago I used to have a perfume called 'Diorissimo', I can find it online but not in shops, so I think it's a bit out of date and to be honest don't want to spend £50on something I may not even like anymore. OH used to love it though, can anyone suggest a current smellalike that I can perhaps also find on PP. On another website it says "This feminine scent possesses a blend of jasmine, lily of the valley, and ylang-ylang"

You could try this seller. I haven't tried him yet, but he has a few oils that PP doesn't have.

sofa babe can you help as you seem to know your perfumes, im looking to put in a new order with PP and looking for some new bottles to get from perfume palour my fav so far is fuel for life,flowerbomb (only bought as everone raved about it on here and i love it ) justine bieber sometimes, and lady millions (love this one so much as well)

i Like and have very valentino, prada,romance, diesel, miss cherie,
not that keen on lovestruck, vera wang

so do you have any ideas what other kinds of perfumes to go for what to try Lovedose but was out of stock last time i ordered, im so addicted to these oils, love putting a new smell on every day.

also can i ask were do people rub the oils for best affect,
i tend to put in on my wrists and behind my ears but feel sometime the smell is not that strong.

We seem to have quite similar taste in perfumes, so I'd recommend Lolita Lempicka (sweet with licorice), Armani Code, JP Gaultier, Vera Wang Princess, The One, Nina by Nina Ricci, and 212 Sexy.

Also with Spring in mind you might like these: Ghost, SJP Lovely, Katy Perry Purr, J-Lo Live, Boss Orange, and CK One Shock.



EDIT: You may also like Euphoria, I absolutely love it but I haven't tried the oil (I have a real thing) but at £2 its definitely worth a punt I'd say!

i have had Euphoria before and loved it also have a bottle of armani code which i bought before i found PP, thanks will put a order in today with some of your recommendation and hopefully another wee order in a few weeks.
i never get the chance to go and smell the perfumes from the big stores so always best to have someone that knows them perfumes to help, so thanks very much.

sorry folks another question anyone ever bought the sprays from Perfume palour, love the oils but kinda miss spraying perfume on my clothes when going out, my question is the spray as good as the oil, was going to buy 3 to try , flowerbomb, ladys million and amarni code, any one every tried any of the sprays thanks
