£50 credit just means that you have £50+ on your account so you shouldnt have to pay the first bill, maybe the first two bills even:A Boots Tart :A0

Cheers for clearing that up, what about the recommend a friend thing I mentioned? It says on http://www2.orange.co.uk/servlet/Satellite?pagename=OrangeUK&c=OUKOffer&cid=1092126765879 that its avaiable on your plan 60 and above but I was told in store I had to join your plan 200.0 -
the 100 pound buyback is back again! BUT only on Motorola handsets!...a 12 month contract (with half price line rental for 6 months) on a your plan 120 (£12.50 for first 6 months) will mean 7 months of the contract are paid for!...on top of that you get a free bluetooth headset! this will all end start of april so if u want a nice freebie and a nice cheap contract then do it now!:0

orange do good student contracts, however i found that o2 wer able 2 do it cheaper for me, while the terms are not just as good the bill is cheaper, however this may be cos this is the 3rd contract ive had with them , and was with them as a PAYG customer for several years0

Hi
can i ask what deal the Vodaphone was?
Also, do these student deals tie you in for 3/4 years - i.e. student life or are they regular 12month ones0 -
I haven't read the thread, but the deal I'm on is amazing.
I am on an 18 month contract with 3 for 500 xnet minutes and 100 texts.
I got a new Sony Ericsson K608i.
The standard rate is £30 / month, the first 3 however are half price.
After 12 months I get a £150 cashback (argued on phone to get this).
Total Paid = (30 x 15) + (15 x 3) = £495
Minus Cashback = £345
= £19.17 / month.
Absolute bargain, no need for a home phone with 500 minutes a month.
Also comes with a free phone, which was worth about £100 at the time.0 -

Yeh, you can still get them, 25 pound mind you. and insted of the 50 pound, its now 100 pound money back! much better value. anyone thinking about aquiring the student deal, get it before april coz it changes and you'll get less mins for your money (which sucks!) plus the 100 pound money back wont be there no more!:0
