ah, might be a problem then. i will look for somewhere else. i read about the one you used and it said its difficult to understand for beginners?
It depends on how savvy you are. I find it very easy and like the way you can change it, but to other this just means confusion.
Like anything, you just have to start and learn as you go.0 -

What I meant was, it's something quite difficult to incorporate into an already successful blog. Like, it's probably not appropriate for Hester to do that, but if she started a different blog that would be better. But Hester, have you thought about adding Adsense to your blog?
Wow, I'm really not awake this morning.
It was probably me not reading your post correctly.
I see your point now, and agree with it. I looked at Hester's blog and it is very good. Not sure putting ads in it would do it any favours.
Then again, we don't know what these "little text links at the foot of posts" are like, so they may not make much difference to the blog.0 -
Well ive now started a blog up on wordpress, it really wasnt as difficult as the review i read made it out to be.STP Genre 5 earnings= £28.510

Thank you for all of the advice here, I have 2 blog sites currently, so I have just applied to register them with digivate. Fingers crossed!0

the thing is; i know some people who run very successful sites. we're talking upwards of 10,000 a day. they also have affiliate links on their site, and it's barely enough to cover bandwidth...so the idea of affiliating isn't going to get you a big buck.
i think the idea of having links is a good one, but digivate seems to pay very very poorly. i mean £22 for 50 posts? come on!0 -
also, would you have to start blogs in the vein of writers;share...so things that are consumable, or things that can have links. 'cause presumably you couldn't blog about how much you hate ken livingstone because what link are they going to put at the bottom of that?0

I agree with that, but it does seem the easiest to join and we are pretty sure the site will pay.
I, and I'm sure others, will just view Digivate as a starting point. If we get paid from them it will encourage us to join others and work more on our blogs.0 -
Hi
Geordie Joe, I've never tried to make money from my blog, I could use adsense, but my blog topics are so random that I can't imagine it would raise any revenue. I write for pleasure & to let of steam, I like to know people enjoy my blog, and anyone who has read it will know I have tried many different ways of earning money.
Silver Charming, glad you liked it.

I ran a very simple personal blog (of a teenager) a few years back, and got £50 per month from Google Adsense. Definately something I am going to start doing again!I like to make money

since most people are quite new to this way of making a little bit of cash would you briefly be able to explain how you went about doing this?STP Genre 5 earnings= £28.510
