did you both use blogger to create it or another site?

I used WordPress on my own web space.

I have a blog that is very popular, but I don't make any money out of it, maybe I could if I turned it into a best selling book?

Then you are in a good position to try the sites listed in the first post.

Why does your blog not make money? Is it because you have never tried to make money from it, or did you try and fail?

I think they just aid they had to be at least 3 months old, have a certain number of posts per week and be listed in google.

Would it have to actually be three months old? Could you not *ahem* alter the date stamps?

I suppose you could, but it would depend on how much they check the site.

For example, your posts may show the blog has been going for three months, but a whois lookup may show your domain was only registered last week.

Hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but Hester uses blogger, her URL is in her profile. I just looked at it and I liked it a lot! (Don't worry, I'm not going to rip you off ;))

I think the issue with a lot of blogs is integrity. Like, the attraction of Hester's blog is that it's funny and friendly and warm. How could you square that with writing about some random topic to earn a few pennys? Or am I missing something here?

I think you are missing the point here. Our blogs will be specifically made to earn money, not because we have a burning desire to create a blog to tell the world about something. To us they will just be a tool that we use to earn money, not something we feel passionate about or have a burning desire to do.

    Well done.

I don't know anything about blogster at all, but just had a quick look at the site. The T&Cs say this
Personal and non commercial use: BLOGSTER.COM is provided solely for personal and non commercial use. You may not solicit business, sell or offer to sell any goods and services. You may not use spam on BLOGSTER.COM.

Not sure how selling, or being paid to include links fits in with this.

No, I don't think I missed the point, just that I didn't express myself very well. What I meant was, it's something quite difficult to incorporate into an already successful blog. Like, it's probably not appropriate for Hester to do that, but if she started a different blog that would be better. But Hester, have you thought about adding Adsense to your blog?

Wow, I'm really not awake this morning.
