Another stupid thread with stupid comments that stupid people will react to and draw their money out.
RBS may or may not use shareholders to raise cash. They may sell Direct Line which should be enough. Next you will be saying that anyone with a Direct Line or Tesco policy should change insurance company as they are owned by RBS.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

RBS only have themselves to blame for their complacency (spelling?). They have Direct Line and Coutts in their portfolio for the love of god they are just greedy and if they are struggling then they only have themselves to blame. They are a bank and shouldn't spend more than what deposits they hold or what they can realistically afford-now I wonder if they will incurr charges for spending more then they have-like their poor customers and abused shareholders do....I THINK NOT.
They made a mistake and if they do go cap in hand to the government, guess who pays-the taxpayer, when half of us don't even have a product with them.
Oh well, the joys of living in the UK eh!!!Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!
As D'Ream would sing 'Things.....can only get better'!!!0 -
