The TomTom V3 GB on QVC is covered by a money back guarantee if you change your mind. It's usually 30 days but is extended until 25th Jan at the moment, I believe. So you could buy it, hang on to it & see if there are any better offers before then....

If you want a 'TomTom' One v3 GB (as above) 'Currys' on-Line price is £127.00. They will match this price in their stores.
Saves waiting and trusting the post/delivery !

TomTom one with european mapping is only £129 at Amazon this is by far the best value on this item, carry case is £12 as well.
Amazon also have an extended return period up to 31st January 080 -
Free sat nav on this phone is excellent. The gps receiver is in built and the co-piolt software is brilliant.0

Tesco have TomTom One GB for £139.97 and they also give you 999 Clubcard points and free delivery, a good deal if you use the points to spend on Clubcard deals.0

Thinking of buying TomTom One v3 Europe (works out at £125 delivered with Empire Direct, using discount codes elsewhere in forum)... but note that doesn't have a memory card slot whereas the XL does...
Is the XL worth the extra?... in a year or so, I figure can always buy a card off ebay to update rather than pay £50+ for new maps via TomTom... any thoughts would be welcome.0 -
Hubby was telling me last night about a lady at work who just bought a Garmin (she loves it). She went to the shop to buy a Tom Tom but the assistant told her he'd sold 11 in the past 2 weeks and ALL 11 had been returned with faults. Sorry, I don't know the model, but I thought I'd mention it anyway...0

Dont beleive the BS sales assistants spout off, they probably had targets or more profit in the Garmin0 -
As far as i'm aware Garmin are more reliable than tomtom. Plus if something does go wrong i'd put my money on Garmin sorting it out, much better. But tomtom does have the mapshare feature! decisions, decisions!!!0
