Searching for some time now and I picked up the following package for £261 from PC world this week using the code SATNAV10OFF (10% Discount on all Sat Nav Products over £200 ) . I printed off the voucher and it was accepted at the till when I went to pay. Not sure how to link to the voucher but you can find it on vouchercodes.com under PC world.
This was by far the best price we could find and so far pretty happy with it .

Hey there TokyoJoe
Have been looking online for satnavs today and a friend pointed me in the direction of this thread.....
..... that looks like the best deal I've seen that you've found there so thanks for sharing!
one quick question.....
on the TomTom website...... it shows here that it has maps for all the countries but not the Republic of Ireland.... ( http://www.tomtom.com/products/section.php?ID=212&Section=338&Category=0&Lid=1 )
however on the pc world site it says in it's features list: UK, Full European, USA and Canadian Maps
so I'm assuming that this would include The Republic of Ireland....
could you confirm this for me?
many thanks and again... nice one of the heeeds up

Alwyn, Hope you ordered as they are now showing as 'OUT OF STOCK'. Has anyone heard of a good bargain for a UK & Ireland SATNAV with postcode search and safety camera alerts ? Must be reliable. Have heard conflicting reports of Tom Tom and quite good ones on Garmin Nuvi - but need a really good price."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0

Alwyn ,
Apologies for the delay in replying. There appears to be some mapping info for EIRE especially around Dublin and Cork and major roads but otherwise the mapping seems to be extremly limited for the Tom Tom 910 when compared to the UK .Be Kind0 -
I used my Tom Tom One in Dublin recently and it was bloody useless! It took me ages to correct the mistakes by Tom Tom. Out of the city it was OK but in Dublin was hard work. I think it uses out of date maps in Dublin0
