Been reading this thread with interest as I've been after one for my dh for xmas. I've just reserved a Navman ICN330 @ argos for store pick up. They are out of stock for home delivery.

Sainsburys have the Sony NVU-50G on offer at the moment for £150, in-store only.

Have done a quick search of the web and the cheapest I can find this elsewhere is £230.

However, does anyone have any experience of this unit:

    How good is it?
    Does it support postcode searches?

    Any comments welcomed.

Lets see I have just received an email from Pipeline offering a bargain N40i for only £225.00 +vat with FREE delivery
Pipeline members can also buy an N40i at a price that even the Internet can't beat - direct from Navman themselves.

Yay....I'm going to make a saving, even if they never get the Pipeline card up and running, Oh hang-on a min when I go to order it the price has suddenly jumped from £225.00 to £254.47 add the vat £44.53 total £299.00, but what the hell its still cheaper than what I can get it for on the Internet, after all thats what Pipeline have told me in my email.

    But.....

I think I'll check first to see what savings I will be making by taking up this pipeline offer.

Found a site selling the same model but these robbing bleeders want to charge for delivery too :( so if I order from this company I have to pay Vat and Delivery at a total cost of £274.89 so if I order through the pipeline offer I would make a saving of....errr what the hell its going to cost me more! I thought they said their offer was better than anywhere else on the Internet :(

I think Mr Ben Scammell needs to do his homework before he starts making offers that just don't workout if he wants people to take him seriously, after all it took me all of 30 seconds via google to find that his offer is maybe not as good as it looked, shame he couldn't do the same :)

Thought I would post it here as good as any place :)
