"so am i in a position", you ever heard of that saying, doesn't mean i want compensation, just means I would mind getting it and makes no difference if I ask for it and don't get it
Funny how some People Interpret wrongly what other people are saying
hmm? wrong for misinterpretting your post, or are you now trying to back track??what is the plural of moose?

I am not trying to backtrack, basically I came on here and worded everything exact, I am the 1st to admit this is not a big Issue and have never had a Dishwasher before, so don't really miss anything.
I just started getting a load of attacks from people and didn't know why, and i admitted the way i wrote it at 1st did sound a bit over the top, but wasn't meant like that.
I mean I am using this Dishwasher as a case, as since we have moved in, I expected there to be loads of niggly Problems, especially as it was a New Build and we were 1st in, but it is the way the Agents who describe themselves as Professional dealt with the Issue's, as in they didn't really have a clue on most things.
I am just of the view of, up till now, I have been speaking to them and saying thats fine and don't worry, and 2 months into Tenancy, I am thinking if I carry on doing this, they will just not bother, so hopefully when the Dishwasher guy comes and fixes the thing, i still want the Agents to know that, i am not having a go at them cos things didn't work, that happens, but the way in which they went about rectifying things was terrible.
Again, I apologise to whatever way people took my mail and probably was the wrong forum to post on, but with all the good advice i have got off here with other Issues, just thought I would get easy advice on who is to blame, so I can basically say, enough is enough, problems happen, its life, but what makes you professional is the way in which you handle the situation and find a solution.
But maybe I am thinking of a perfect world, and to expect service from a Professional Lettings is stupid
Plus, i am fustrated in that I believe its a tap thats not turned on at the back or a bolt not been taken off pipes as sounds like water cant get through, but its built in and cant get to it to check and have a go myself :mad:0 -
Just for the record tenants are not entitled to any special or better treatment than an owner occupier in the same position. So, you are not entitled to any compensation wether that be £50 or any other amount.0

In the last property I rented, the washing machine broke down. I couldn't be there when the the repair man came round, so my landlady and I agreed that she would use her spare set of keys and wait in for me. If I'd have insisted on being there myself, it would have probably taken an extra two/three weeks!
Can't you get someone to do similar? If your landlord/agent won't do this, do you have any friends/family in the area who don't work 9 to 5?

Our washer stopped spinning yesterday, contacted shop we bought it off, wont be able to get out till monday.
So what we thought, lets take this washing to either mothers in law, or laundrette.
Meanwhilst, you can just put dishes into sink and think of all the electric and washing tablets your saving..
Dishwashers are for lazy people, thats why i bought the wife one..0
