I've found out this morning that my cashback from churchill was declined. I took out the insurance on 10th April and it's only just been declined (without explanation). The only thing I thought may have explained it was that it appeared to be tracked as home insurance rather than car insurance, so I've raised a query on this.

    My predicament as well

I'd be interested to know how watchdog work out for you. After all, the only reason I went with them was because of the cashback. Apart from that, they weren't the cheapest.
both mine tracked as home then eventually 1 changed to car

Just checked mine , £100 declined by Churchill for car insurance . I am not to happy about that as I could have got it cheaper elsewhere & have been waiting 3 bloody months .

This is just not on Quidco , its tantamount to fraudulent dealing by Churchill in enticing people in .
I'm in exactly the same position and feel the same. I've just logged in to find my Churchill transaction from February has been declined on 13th June  (Along with a Green Flag breakdown cover cashback payment from March, declined for absolutely no reason - just raised an enquiry about that too)

I already had the Churchill payment being investigated by Quidco's "escalations team" as to why it had never progressed from "Tracked" and it had an open ticket. I've just replied to the ticket again requesting assurance that it's still being investigated.

I will not hesitate to report Churchill to the insurance regulators if they don't pay up. The only reason I chose them was the cashback, as without taking the cashback into consideration there were quite a few cheaper deals.

in the other quidco thread they state that there seems to be an issue :-

We contacted the network today, and we've been advised that the reason for the declined transactions on 13 June for Green Flag, Churchill, and Privilege was that they were quotes which did not convert to sales.

If you feel this is incorrect, and you haven't already submitted an enquiry, please do so ASAP, and we will get them sent to the network so they can be looked at right away. We have to do this through the enquiry system, as they will need policy numbers, etc, and we don't have this information. Please also make sure you put all required information into your enquiry; otherwise it will be delayed because we'll have to come back and ask you for the missing information.

There were also a few transactions for Purple Parking that were declined on the 13th, but they are with a different network. Again, if you have had a transaction with this merchant declined and you feel that it should not have been, please submit an earnings enquiry.

Also, please note this is only in regard to the transactions declined on 13 June for the merchants listed above. It is not related to unsuccessful enquiries with any merchant; these are transactions, not enquiries.

Same experience with the SS and Churchill, Churchill + Quidco = Best Deal :j

Anybody had Churchill paid through Quidco, there are no stats showing how long/ reliability of pay out?!?

I just completed an online survey from Churchill asking why I did not renew and I said about the cashback problems with Quidco. Maybe they'll sit up and take notice now!
