This is the first time I've ever had a problem with Quidco0 -
I'm not a regular quidco user, but i only here bad things.... my opinion is to treat cashbacks as a bonus IF you get it...
Insanity to rely on a flakey 3rd party company who might have you a back hander?? I saw this offer and dismissed it, opting for Tesco instead. As it happens they were only £30 more 'expensive'.... looks like i have saved myself £70 by not taking this 'offer'..0 -

You haven't saved yourself anything as you never took it on , you have paid £30 more .
As for flakey 3rd party backhanders , I've never had a problem with Quidco until now , it looks like it is Churchill who has reneged .
Cashbacks shouldn't be treated as a bonus , it is advertised as £100 cashback , trading standards have told me that it is an enticement to buy , if they don't pay it is a breach of contract !
Next time talk facts mate , not rubbish .0 -

As the original poster of this thread I just wanted to say how disappointed  I am that people are not getting their cashback from Churchill via Quidco.
Just for the record I took out my car insurance on 14 April and home insurance on 16 April. Cashback of £100 on car and £80 on home both paid on 1 June. So I see no reason why anybody who applied before me should not get their cashback.Regards

Mine was a few days before you , I am so angry over this that I have sent details to BBC Watchdog , I hope they pursue this all the way . I am also contacting trading standards over this , Churchill cannot by law agree to entice by offering £100 cashback , via an agreed contract via Quidco I assume , then just refuse it on grounds that no one has explained to anyone .
This matter will not rest with me I assure you .0 -
I've found out this morning that my cashback from churchill was declined. I took out the insurance on 10th April and it's only just been declined (without explanation). The only thing I thought may have explained it was that it appeared to be tracked as home insurance rather than car insurance, so I've raised a query on this.Mine was a few days before you , I am so angry over this that I have sent details to BBC Watchdog , I hope they pursue this all the way . I'd be interested to know how watchdog work out for you. After all, the only reason I went with them was because of the cashback. Apart from that, they weren't the cheapest.Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0
