Ok, I'll put in my two penny worth!!
Didnt get Hayfever until I was 24, my then GF and I went to Greece for a fortnight, second week my Eyes and Nose were Streaming also Sneezing for England!! (cant do them little girly sneezes) She came back with a lovely tan and I came back with a lifelong affliction!!
So every year without fail end of May it kicks in gently but by end of May it's affecting my Job and my life , it usually goes full bore until end of August beginning of September!
I've tried Evry known antihistamine on the market and NONE of them has ever worked to relieve the Symptoms, then along came a Wonder Steroid KENALOG Doctor decided to try it with me and 24 hours later i'd gone from a Sneezing wreck to completely and utterly clear of any and all Hayfever Symptoms it was Fantastic!! so for 6 years I waited til my hayfever could get as bad as possible (as the injection only lasted 4 weeks and was told I could only have 1 per season) then go for the Jab in the Buttock, then I found that if I continued to take my 180mg Fexofenadine at the same time then I ended up with a little sniffle at the end of August and that was it. However, along came the Big Bad Doctors who know better than us and Banned the use of Kenalog because of "potential long term side affects" !!
My last two years have been awful once again, my Fexofenadine isn't doing anything, eye drops work short term, Nasal sprays totally innefective..... Then My Dad spied an Advert for the Allergy Reliever, so after a Horrendous day at work (Train Driver) with My whole face sore to the touch, my Eyes irritated to hell and having gone through 2 full Toilet rolls of snot!! I bought the Reliever...... Got in tried it, got a laugh from the Family about the Rudolph affect, could only just put the probes into my nostrils due to the fact my Nose was swollen and sensitive, my Eyes watered like hell, didnt notice much effect however it stopped me sneezing!! Used it again before bed, then when I got up this morning, at Dinner time, and again at Team Time ! Still not sneezed since I first used it!! Dont know whats it's doing, I was extremely sceptical about shining a light up my Beak to relieve hayfever however all I can report is that it's definately had a positive effect on reducing my symptoms, i'm still snotty but nowhere near as bad. I will continue to report on my progress with this . If it gives me 50% relief from my symptoms then it's money well spent in my eyes. I'd like to Kiss whoever had the idea and followed it through :rotfl::T:T:beer:0 -
Ok , a quick update. Woke up at 6am fully clogged up!! was due a rudolph session, so i did it which cleared one nostril and went back to sleep!!
Still no sneezing......
Used it again at 11am, still not sneezed which for me was a big thing!!
However, had 4 Sneezes at about half 12........
Still Snotty, so it aint a miracle Cure but as the title suggests it's an allergy reliever and it has certainly relieved my symptoms.
Had another Rudolph (the kids have named it "doing a rudolph!") at half 4 this afternoon , that was followed by 4 sneezes!! Think i pushed the right one to far up!! Although today my nose has been very twitchy!!
So to recap not a 100% success but i'd definately give it 7 out of 10!!0 -
Another update......
Dropped a major testicle today!! Forgot to take my Fexofenadine before leaving for work at half 5!! And there I was wondering exactly what my anti-histamine did!! When I got out the Car at work it dawned on me fairly quickly what it did!! I had a nightmare for the next 3 hours, the Light sabre's did nothing to help. It seems I need a combination of the treatments to do any good, one on it's own isn't enough! So i'm back to where I started last week.0 -
I really think I wasted my money on this and the so called ioniser and Medinose-
think i paid for a l.e.d light and a pc fan... my opinion I think I wasted my money.0 -
Had awful hayfever yesterday must have gone through a whole box of tissues, could barely drive, nose running continuously, sneezing etc. Bought the hayfever reliever and from the first use my nose stopped running and today I have only sneezed twice. For the first time in months my nose is clear and I can breathe. The pollen count is still high today. It works. Thankyou to Lloyds.0

I bought my Allergy Reliever from Lloyds and tried it for the first time last night. This morning was the first morning in a couple of months that I woke up without a blocked nose. Did it again this morning and the effect so far is good. However, the real test will be when I set off to walk to work! If I can get to work without sneezing I'll be well impressed!
Also got the air purifier, though it's hard to say if it's having any effect, or if it's the Allergy Reliever doing all the work. If nothing else it spews out a bit of cold air which is a godsend in this weather!Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

I bought a Lloyds Pharmacy Allergy reliever last year as my Medinose unit stopped working following 3 good years of successful use which had virtually eradicated my hayfever/rhinitis symptoms. I was sucked in by the price tag of £14.99 and it looked practically the same as the Medinose so I was very excited about paying that price compared to £79.99.
I was really disappointed with the product and the cheaper version did absolutely nothing for my symptoms. The light is a lot dimmer when the unit is on and yes, before you ask, I did change the batteries just in case they were faulty but it made no difference.
I would advise people to pay the extra and purchase the medinose which you can now get for as little as £44.99 and don't waste your money on a poor immitation.0 -
Hi Money Savers!
After reading your posts I bought the Lloyds Pharmacy Hayfever/Allergy Reliever for my partner at the uber bargain price of £14.99. Good news people: fantastic results! It's reduced symptoms by about 70-80% (he continued taking his normal medication). He still gets some itchiness in the eyes occasionally at the end of the day - but sneezing, runny nose, itchiness, are all very heavily reduced. It started to work after the first couple of uses and has really transformed the summer for him. So I bought 2 more: one for my brother and one for a friend. They seem to have positive results too, although they don't seem to be doing it very regularly.
At £14.99 I think Lloyds Hayfever reliever is a must-buy for all hayfever sufferers. Fantastic results for us anyway. Would definitely recommend trying the Lloyds one before the more expensive version.
Again, many thanks to all who posted here, because I wouldn't have bought it without your advice and it has had a very real impact on my partner's life - so THANK YOU. :T

Is that really that cheap? There are loads of hayfever cures that cost a lot less than that!
I can't post a link but search for hayfever on a site called chemist compare and compare all the prices. I think you can find something cheaper!0 -
Well, I bought one, and I can't say it's helped me one little bit.
Still, £15 to make your nose light up red for 3 minutes has to be a good deal anyway.0
