This is my next installment re my claim against egg.com
i received this reply
I can confirm that the Loan Repayment Protection Insurance was a single paid premium which is added to the balance of the Egg Loan at the start of the loan. Therefore any refund for this insurance will result in the reduction of the balance and not via cash refund.
Following this as you're unhappy with the resolution met by our Customer Relations Office, I'm forwarding your message on to them in a view for reviewing your options further.
Any thoughts folks on how i tackle them further.Am still awaiting a break down of the figures to post for someone to check them for me
Hi hun
How long have you been waiting for a written breakdown in this ?
So you would prefer this as a cash refund then I take it ?The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I always taken it if the firm admitted mis selling then its your matter of choice how you want this to be refunded, while still active.
If they did, and you wanted this deducted off the loan then fair enough, although if its a goodwill gesture I suppose they could state they will be doing this by deducting this, but even so if they done that they would have to alter the payment schedule to this, so I would still request this to go into your pocket if you really want it this way.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
They have offered me a settlement which i presume means they accept it was mis sold I got original letter thursday i contacted them by phone friday to state i did not want money being used to decrese term of loan they refused so i emailed saturday and had this response today (monday).I have replied again asking for full breakdown of figures as i intend to take it to FSO i have also rejected their settlement .:rolleyes:0

I am surprised they have not actually stated if they admit it were mis sold or a goodwill gesture, I would try to get this answer from them too, because if this is put into writing and it was that of mis sold you have every right just like what Marshallka said that you can have this refunded directly to you.
You could still fight it out though despite that.
As soon as you have the figures post up here hun and these will be worked out.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I am not happy my catalogue company is covered by no one. No fos, no fla.
They have taken money off me for an account cover that they added un requested, totalling £1234 without interest and they can get away with it
because no one started authorising them until 2001.
It amounts to theft in my book.DS1 12/10/04
