So is it a combi ?
We just have the standard Glow-worm, in time we will upgrade to a combi.
I pay £16 a month with Swalec, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year call out but not been that far yet so I would not really know how reliable they are.
We also have the electrical cover for £4 a mth.
So they said that yours was beyond repair ? How old was it ?0 -
Just rang my Co-op adjudicator and this time it says now that he on sick leave (not annual leave like last week) until monday 29th September. This is beyond a joke. Its not just me that has this, everyone does and i think its very coincidental that each of us that have adjudicators numbers each get this reply. I have read so much of it. :rolleyes:0

This is the new condensing type which will be better for a shower and also supposed to be a rated so much cheaper to run hopefully. We take about 30 mins to run a bath with the one we have and shower pressure is terrible. There are four of us and when we all want baths/ showers each night its all about running backward/forward adjusting the taps (and has been for 3 years) cause it runs cold after a couple of mins, then you have to turn the tap up and then down. I am the only one who can actually run a bath.
OMG, its like that here, there are 4 of us and we will be getting upgrades done soon, we will have to because before we moved here this poor blind hubby and wife lived here, and do you ever remember the "Dolphin mirrored showers"? well that is what we have here but cannot upgrade until we get this property all earthed out to a modern one.
It takes forever to run a bath here too, I have to run it in two halves.... , and that is left to me too because the others here have not got a clue:rotfl: . lol

marshallka wrote: »I am so fed up. I have not had one reply to any of my emails from either complaint ever. How long do they usually take to reply would you say??
I think it had taken 3 weeks for the consumer consultant to get back to me and they did not email like I did them, they replied by post but surely they should have got back to you by now.
Its a no wonder these complaints are taking forever........:mad:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
marshallka wrote: »Tried the number of the underhand that was given on the auto reply emails and they have left for the day. It was only 15th i emailed them so maybe time yet. Its just me - impatient.
Try again tomorrow and tell them how stressed you are over this.
If you supply them with the reference number if you have one of these then they should be able to check this out for you.
No your not being impatient, you have waited an heck of a long time already just to get one answer/reply !!!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I have not accepted their offer , I have just emailed egg stating my rejection and my reasons for doing this unless it is in the way I request . I have also asked for a full break down of how they arrived at the figure they did and informing them i will exercisae my rights to contact the FSO if they fail to resolve it to my satisfaction
Will keep you updated and thanks for your help :T
i received this reply
I can confirm that the Loan Repayment Protection Insurance was a single paid premium which is added to the balance of the Egg Loan at the start of the loan. Therefore any refund for this insurance will result in the reduction of the balance and not via cash refund.
Following this as you're unhappy with the resolution met by our Customer Relations Office, I'm forwarding your message on to them in a view for reviewing your options further.
Any thoughts folks on how i tackle them further.Am still awaiting a break down of the figures to post for someone to check them for me0
