Repayments were that of £208.51 a month, and the Interest Rate 9.52 %per annum fixed for the first 12 months.

Then on the form it states
    Monthly instalments £208.51
    300months
    apr 9.9%

Here a question for you to ask at work Anne.Jade.

Its about the limitations and money secured on property. If you have a mortgage and default on the payments etc then you can be chased for that debt for up to 12 years after.

If you have a ppi that is secured to a property then surely the limitations act should apply the same in that you can chase the money for up to twelve years after too.

I asked Tiggrae that one too and she did not know..

    Hiya

I'll see what I can find out, the guy I would normally ask is on leave at the moment but will try and ask someone else and let you know

Endeavour one is where rule 78 was used at settlement as i have just worked it out. I would now just send it in to the FOS and let them handle it. I asked tiggrae about figures and how they say what a fair rebate was and she told me she/FOS do not do figures they only ask if you think its a fair refund and if not then you and the firm have to work one that is.:confused:

I think its a fair argument here don't you???

Some of these PPI's are secured to peoples houses and then these companies are saying that they only have six years to complain and yet if the borrower owed the money to the company then they can chase for up to 12 years as its on the property.

Thank you hunni, I did think they used the Rule of 78 due to the dates they had done this, so best not to mention this then and leave to the FOS to deal with.
Thanks hun your a star as always.;)
