Thanks Marsallka. I am not sure when the PPI was first introduced onto my card. I recall when I first had the card it had Credit Card Protection for something small like 15p per month which I understood to cover ALL my cards against loss. I asked M&S to confirm when the PPI went on to my account and they told me that they did not know as they no longer had the application form which led me to believe that it would have been since 1985. Had it been when it transferred over to a Mastercard then it would have still pre-dated 2007 so would not be within the FOS jurisdiction. I don't think the amounts would justify going to the small claims court.

Oh well it has taught me an important lesson - question everything and don't just skim read statements.

Due to some hassle with an online order I have about £50 in my M&S web account to use - but it has to have the &More card registered to it. Once that money is spent the card is being cancelled.

Thanks hun, and of course the director is also a member of the AFB and sure they will know who he is, I just have on my mind that they will back him up, what do you think ?
I shall fire away an email to the first guy in the pic, or the other, any suggestions on which one or doesn't it matter ?

    Cheers
    xx
I would speak to the director of the AFB himself. I did (top right). I think this company shoud want to know.

Oh just clicked, (pardon the pun). Top left lol even higher

So did you transfer the balance to another company then before 2007 and if so can you not claim from them or is this mastercard still with M and S??

    ok 1st loan

ppi is approximately 19.96% of premiums paid against the £590.35 or £117.83 (which if you'de gone to full term would have been a whopping £35350.16) if you paid 17 premiums this would have been £2003.11
How much rebate on early settlement did they give you for the insurance ?

They didn't say just told me the total figure that would be paid off first loan would be £67255.08 :o

You really need a breakdown of this to see if you got any rebate against the insurance paid.

    I see.
I have not heard anything yet from AFB and if they do get back at all I don't think it will be until tomorrow now because the office hours are almost over, yet the other where I am persistantly trying to contact finish at either 6 or half past, something like that.
I have a gut feeling about this hun and really don't know why the compliance guy has a problem in responding to my emails and all, do you think they are trying to find more time in putting something together, he could at least email back to say something !
