Wow that should be a good fight then.....;) .
And not to worry hun I understand if you have to suddenly go.;)
Did you follow Big brother at all ?
Rachel Rice the girl who won this is my mates cousin, she is a lovely girl, and the whole family are very nice.
Rachel used to come to my house when she was small and tickle my son's feet lol.....:D
I liked Rachel but for me she was tooo on the fence. I love debates and i love other peoples opinions too. She would bore me as she is so agreeable. (without disrespect if you know what i mean)....
Don't worry Di, I'm a celeb will be on soon.:D0 -

Hi, i wrote a letter to Alliance and Leicester telling them that i was mis-sold PPI and that i want to cancel it. That was 8 weeks ago, i havent heard anything back from them and when i phoned up i was told i couldnt cancel it because i had arrears on my account. Does anyone know if this is true? Can anyone help, what should i do now?0

Hi there.
Was you aware of the arrears on your account ?
To my knowledge it should not make any difference if you want to cancel the ppi or not.
I would write to them and request a copy of the figures breakdown, send by recorded post and tell them you want this PPI cancelled without fail, arrears or not, this just goes to show they have added the whole lot in with loan !
Send by recorded post, so you can track this down, and as they have already had many weeks to do this tell them you expect to hear from them within 7 days with the ppi cancelled and a new repayment agreement, I may be wrong here but this should not make any difference!
Someone else here may also be able to advise you from here, but if you were mis sold the PPI you have grounds for complaint anyway, this can actually remove the arrears where they could recalculate and adjust this on the loan.
If you require more info, please get back to us hun.;)
