Hello and welcome dazman........:DThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
If you want to hun, write a draft letter, add it on here and it can be tweaked.;)
Do not add your personal details on here though hunni, as you know.;)
I am hopeless with letters hun, but we need to be strong, and I have added them on here - the help I have received with the tweaking from others on here, such as Tiggrae, Marshallka, Sarah etc, they have been wonderful.:A .
Just do your best and be strong, add here if you want to okay hun ?;)

No post again today, for once they came early and nothing from the FOS. Its so annoying why it takes soooo long for them to deal with these things (or at least tell us one way or another) when we are all complaining about the same things. PPI and single premiums!!!! Some people like myself will be time barred for taking the matter to court if they leave things tooo long and then end up with nothing. You think how many people are making complaints that they are in their last year for (or even few months:eek: ) and then get knocked back by the FOS and then cannot make the claim to the courts in time. This is wrong. Also what happens if FOS takes a year to look into your claim and then after that year they have to request documents from these companies and it then makes it over 6 years that you are complaining about. If companies only have to keep records for 6 years and then can dispose of them then can the company say "sorry we have no record of that account etc".
I think we shoud be able to log our complaints online and if they are single premiums then automatically get our money back. I am such a dreamer:D0 -

Morning hun.;)
I wish our postie came earlier, we have no chance here.
Talking about how long these complaints take with the FOS, I was talking to someone yesterday, they are still waiting in the queue after a year for it to be passed onto the Adjudicator....... .
I also think it depends who's desk these complaints land on from the start, and how many each have to deal with but OMG its not been allocated yet to the Adjudicator......., so you talking maybe another year for this poor guy, and then it may be a complex case, so blimey the way its going we have a way to go yet....... .
Marshallka, your a genius, now that would be a great idea, logging our complaints online........:D .
You should bring this up more often hunni, it would be cool if someone mentioned this to these authorities.......:D .The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Emailed Companies House yesterday about one of the firms still running by the directors of a dissolved company, here is the reply:
Dear
Thank you for your email. Any evidence that shows a director is acting in an unfit manner should be referred to the Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR), Tel.020 7215 5000 or their website can be found at:
https://www.berr.gov.uk.
Unfortunately, Companies House are unable to advise with regards to reclaiming your money. Please seek legal advice. Possibly, your local Citizens Advice Bureau can help.
Yours faithfully,

Hi Marshallka
It must be so frustrating for you. I am confused how the FOS work out which ones they are going to look into first. I had about six all go in Dec/Jan time. One has been sorted (well still negotiating) the others have not even been sent to an Adjudicator yet. Another sent in just one month ago and the company has already come back with an offer before it went to an adjudicator.
I wonder if when they first get the paperwork if they then write off to the companies to get SAR and if they know it is going to be easy it gets seen earlier. Also wonder if the companies once getting communication from FOS settle if they have been trying to wriggle out of it. Think they call the consumers bluff sometimes thinking we will not take it further.
I remember that somebody on here also said that the FOS is financed by the banks themselves so wonder just how fair this is:rolleyes::mad:0
