So can you not go to the FOS then??? Surely one of them must be accepting the claims....[/quote

Its ok the fscs have taken my complaint but said that until they declare Picture in default they can't pay compensation or look to deeply into whether I have a claim . Once Picture are in default my complaint gets dealt with hence the impatience for them to do so!

  • I originally wrote to Natwest who I got the loan through but received a questionnaire from Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS)...I always thought they weren't part of the same organisation but what the hell...I have now responded to RBS and sent them the completed questionnaire with details of the Natwest loan that I took out...I have a week or so left in which time I should receive a response from them (they state usually within 4 weeks)...so will wait and see what happens....

I was notified today of the date of mediation from the Small Claims Mediation Service provided by the courts. Hopefully now that there is a 3rd party involved, the Halifax will take me seriously as I get the impression they haven't until now.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

I hope you win Bathgatebuyer, and very brave of you to take it to the courts. There are a few on here now that could do with doing the same and nice to see a post from someone that has. :D

I'm here, most days - just looking, waiting to hear from FOS re credit card claims/PPI claim - it helps to see what everyone else is doing( or not) - knowing that we are all in the same boat!!

    dear all
my postie came today to say halifax say yes!!!no liability but as gogw will refund ppi on credit card plus int accrued plus 8%.they say they have not mis-sold to me but will pay anyway!!!!it says they are taking 3 weeks to settle...but no indication of ammount received...

Just to let you know 4 letters to halifax and the complaint form to FOS. I have had no further communication from them advising an adjudicant was appointed etc....

This went to Fos in April this year...

    But a great result:beer:

My ppi claim against M and S has been with FOS since Oct 07 and with adjudicant since May 08...so I guess it also depends if the companies want to fight>>>>

Keep the faith out their..And fingers crossed for all your claims and my other claims against Egg and M and S

Thanks for all your support , without reading posts with words of wisdom...I think i may have given up the fight XXXXXXXXX:T

I would wait for Tiggrae on this one. I feel for you having to go through it all again alleybabes. Why have you had to pay the extra £35 on top??
