Hi All, sorry to jump in! (New Today) My ppi reclaim started last November with all the templates flying back and forth between myself, Loans.co.uk (who brokered the loan) and GE Money (Lender). £25K over 25 years to allow home modernisation before selling. After reading MSE post looked back to check paperwork and guess what? £3800 PPI which would cost me over £9K if the loan went its full term (it didnt, only 22 months) After templates were sent I went to FOS in February and after many letters stating we are waiting to place your complaint with a caseworker, finally received a letter last week stating that the FOS adjudicator had reached the conclusion that we wouldnt have taken out ppi if we had all the facts. She recommended they refunded all costs incured by ppi and 8% interest! Loans.co.uk simply stated in reply we had signed the loan agreement etc and could the case go to an ombudsman! No evidence or anything (phone calls etc) so I am waiting for the case to be heard by an ombudsman and cant stop biting my nails thinking how much if any will I get back?
Hang in there, I hope its worth it!!

Thanks for the support last night, got too tired!
My £25K loan was over 25 Years, and the interest rate was 9.0% with the PPi added the total loan was over £29K, the loan ran for 22 months and my repayments were £221.00 per month. If my PPI cost £3800 how do I work it all out including the extra 8% the FOS adjudicator said I should get back?????? When I paid of the loan the settlement figure was an astronomical £36K!!!!!!!!
Help:rolleyes: (cant help thinking!)

loan=70,000.00 PPI = 17149.00 total 87,149.00
this is how they worked out my FIRST PLUS redress

To clarify the details of the redress as set out in Mr Meredith's letter:

a) Settlement figure paid including PPI and rebate £83,759.78
of £4,121.10
Total premiums paid including cost of PPI £8,390.90
Total = £92,150.68

b)Settlement figure assuming no PPI taken £70,614.02
Total premiums paid assuming no PPI taken £6,740.22
Total = £77,354.24

c)Difference between a and b = £14,796.44
8% interest on £14,796.44 = £591.85
Total = 15388.29
these are the figures I received from FIRST PLUS
HOPE IT HELPS x

Hi there folks, I'm late signing in today....;) , lots on.:rolleyes:

Anyway, now going back to Endeavour, I was thinking what Tiggrae said a few pages back, I could go to these on the unfair settlement, as it was calculated by these when settled as lender who click arranged.

Now just to double check the FOS will not look at the complaint:rolleyes: if not covered by the FSA, but because its Click I will be complaining to of the mis selling, it will be about the rebate on Endeavour, am I correct in saying the FOS will look at the unfair rebate side of things even if Endeavour were not covered ?

I know Tiggrae also left a link on one of these pages somewhere, this is about about unfair settlements etc in 2005, will try to seek it, but if anyone else knows where this is, please could you let me know, thanks folks.;)

Hi Wayne lol, that's what we're here for hunni, if I were you I would add both loan and PPI account numbers, just state what they are for eg:
Loan account no:
PPI account no:

Hope this helps and just to let ya know I won my loan-ppi claim with these (LV) just recently, no arguments, it taken just a few short weeks.;)
Hope you get the same luck.;)
