I protect our mortgage with a income protection insurance but its a monthly payment, cancellable at any time and no exit fees and also they asked about medical things before and we KNOW what is excluded. We don't pay an apr on it but if anything happens (god forbid) we are protected. (as much as these things CAN protect you as i know from watching programmes that a lot of claims are rejected by even the best companies).still fighting for my money !!!0

forgot to say congrats!!!:T:T:T:T
we had to go through FOS
the acceptance form was from FOS not FP just saying that it was full redress plus interest, to put us in the posiTion of if we had not had the PPI
On friday they sent an email to say that they had received the form from FOS
and would be forwarding the cheque and calculations in the next few days:money:
so its has taken 3 emails over 3 days with no reply from FP to ask for the calculations and the cheque amount.plus nothing in the post from them.:mad::mad:
I am going to email FOS to see if they have received any info on this ,as they my have to check the amount before it is sent to us.
trying to give them the benefit of being thorough and not get it wrong:cool:
sorry to shout but I AM FED UP OF first plus !!!!still fighting for my money !!!0 -

Received response from GE Money regarding PPI reclaim, lo & behold, they are saying that loans.co.uk are responsible for the PPI, no mention at all of loans.co.uk in my SAR anywhere.

Another quick question, I noticed on my Experian report that I have had several dealings with HFC bank, if I send an SAR do they have to give me details of all the accounts I have held with them? If so do I alter the SAR request letter to reflect this, even though I don't have account numbers for them?

Hi folks
Just an update.
Received the response from the FOS this morning, as expected due to the fact Endeavour/Click Finance ltd (the brokers) were not regulated not even by GISC back in July 2004, they are unable to proceed with this complaint.
As I said I expected this as a response anyway, but feel I should exhaust all avenues before thinking about the court action.
However, the FOS did give a name and address of the FLA (Financial Leasing Association) to see what they can do.
Instead of writing I emailed the above FLA, and within 10 mins they got back and said that they have no code covered for Endeavour,so they can't do anything, so I have since emailed FISA, which the FLA advised us to do, not sure what they can do though but it may even be worth trying this one with the Financial compensation scheme for consumers - again though they may have to have been covered or regulated back in 2004, not sure.
And as the brokers Click Finance dissolved in 2006, I just feel I will have no luck at all with this one, unless I take court action.
I just feel so damn annoyed paying this loan off 24 years earlier and not a lot to show for it in rebate, that was settled and calculated by Endeavour themselves  , so any further advice/info in what you would do, I will be very happy to hear, thanks so much you lovely helpful folks.;)

I would say it looks like the courts route now Di but there are a few on here that have not actually got to the courts and it was settled before. Tiggrae is good for this but she is not on at the moment and m colak may be back on next week or so. Its a shame that we have to go this way and that no-one was around at the time of our loans to look after us. It is a bummer but you will not have to give up yet.0 -
Hi Peeps
I was wondering if anyone could help. I have written my letters off to Lloyds TSB and am awaiting response.
After speaking with my sister it turns out she was mis-sold PPI on her House of Fraser store card and I am trying to help her with letters. I am pretty sure it is part of GE Finance.
Has anyone else tried reclaiming their H o F store card PPI? If so, any luck? Also could you please let me know the address I need to write to as when I called H o F I just got the runaround and got no definate address
