what gets me is - where do they find these bent tw*ats that find all the loopholes to get them out of paying - how much are they paying them, probably a lot actually, out of the PPI and it's interest!, how do they live with themselves - what goes around comes around
LTSB PPI - £770 ish for dad
LTSB PPI for dad - £1800 for dad
    Barclays PPI claim for self-£2204
Dads home insurance - reduced by £200 a year "WE DO NOT LIVE IN FLOOD AREA AND I DON'T SEE WHY WE SHOULD PAY FOR THOSE THAT DO - I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR"!

Sorry to bother again, I'm a newbie! Has anyone had any experience with HSBC in regards to PPI? I tried to look through all the posts and didn't see them mentioned a lot. I took out a small personal loan with my business bank account face-to-face in my branch. I'm self-employed and am now thinking that PPI would never have been any use to me? Any comments before I start to on my first reclaiming mission??!

    Hi there and welcome.

I reclaimed just over £3K in mis-sold PPI that was applied to my Dad's HSBC personal loan. It was never appropriate for him, as he has pre-existing health conditions that excluded him. They paid up after the second letter. Stunned is not the word :j :j :j

Use the template letters and be very clear why you are reclaiming. Make sure you have a good argument to back up your claim - self-employed sounds like a pretty good one!

    Good luck!

(I should point out that all of our other reclaims are with the FOS as every other lender has been stubborn and said a big fat NO)
LBM November 2005: approx £32K
    Current debt: approx £12K :T
Getting there one day at a time ;)

    Hi folks

    Just an update.

Contacted the FOS today regarding my complaint with Endeavour, and nope they were not regulated by anyone in July 2004, but the guy said still wait for a response first, but it may look as if the only action we can take would be the court route.

Anyway, as it was 'Click Finance Ltd' who were the brokers who arranged the loan with Endeavour, it has been confirmed that the brokers actually dissolved in 2006, so as I was given the liquidators details I contacted them (as I did send these a letter a few weeks ago too - to see if I could possibly pursue this through them), but the guy said they have just looked at the letter and there is nothing they can do, but recommended to again take it back to Endeavour who were still unjustly enriched by the sale of the product. This was just advice really.

So like I said its a bit tricky this complaint, and have even contacted the FSCS (financial compensation scheme), to see if they can do anything, but again its very unlikely because Endeavour were not regulated in July 2004, even though they obviously are now.

I suppose I could keep on with Endeavour as they are aware their 3rd party brokers have dissolved and still have a responsibility of this product, afterall most paperwork is headed with their logo's !

Or even write to the HFC perhaps.
As they were part of these.

Okay now I have taken this most angles so far and I know the FOS will not be able to deal with this, before thinking of the court stage do you think I should write to the HFC bank ?
Because with the courts Click are not about now to take them there :o  .

And what type of letter do you think I should write, as I would have to explain what I have done so far ?
Cheers folks and again sorry this is so long.:o

    Di.
    xx

Di, thanks for finding all of this out.

"!!!!!!" is my first response. I had a feeling Endeavour were going to be tricky *sigh*

I've had confirmation the SAR has been delivered, so its just a matter of waiting to see what they dredge up.

well done, congrats, who was this with? Have you posted on the success thread as well. I wish our companies would show as much courtesy and respect to their clients. It must be costing them money to for the extra staff to deal with these complaints. :D
