    Hi Shara

My OH had taken out 3 Loans with Barclayloan.
First in 2002 which was re-financed 2004, then re-financed later in 2004 and settled in Jan this year.

After much banging my head against a brick wall with Barclays took them to the Financial Ombudsman. They upheld my complaint on all three Loans one of the points being that they were front loaded the other saying that in the Terms and Conditions it did not state that PPI was optional.

All these Loans were organised over the phone. Awaiting final figures from Barclays but am expecting nearly £8000.00:T :T :T :T

    Hope that helps:rotfl:

    well done
    fab news!!:beer:_party__party__party_:dance::dance:

still fighting for my money !!!

I would ask who have I actually been paying back money to?
when I put in bespoke finance it brought up freedom finance so clicked on, on the bottom section on the website front page it says bespoke introduce the loan enquiry and freedom process and manage the loan enquiry
Which bottom section of the webpage did you click on laini for that information. I can't find it.

    Edit, got it

Bespoke Finance introduce loan enquiries to Freedom Finance. Freedom Finance process and manage the enquiries that originate from this advertising.

    Thanks for that laini

Can't find my original post. But if it jogs anyones memory it was a Debenhams card where GE Money kindly sent a copy of the CCA fro 1996 clearly showing that protection wasn't required.
As some of you kind souls predicted they have replied saying that it was requested over the phone. Utter rubbish but how the hell can we prove this. Please help as the wifes telling me she new I'd get nowhere but these people are just lying thieves who have really upset me.

sorry for bumping this one but can any of you Sunday people help.

Write back and request a copy of the agreement that you are entitled to. Was this a SAR that you requested? Ifthey don't send you one then get in touch with the Information Commissioners Office and make a complaint with them. Tell GE that if you don't receive it then will be making a complaint.

    Thanks marshallka,
We done the full SAr request using laini's excellent template letter, and enclosing £10 cheque, which was cashed very quickly lol.

I have found your orginal post and it looks like you have sent a letter. Have you requested a SAR from these to see what proof they have that you required the PPI. I would first do that and then another letter stating your argument. When you mention a copy of the CCA (CCA being consumer credit act i presume) you probably mean copy of the actual agreement???? Let us know again all the details and perhaps someone can help on here.

To find your original post you click left click on your name and then find it like i did. It was posted in this thread if that helps. Get back and we can all rack our brains for you.

Just give them a ring or letter and request a copy of the agreement(s) to be sent out. They have to send you one and all your details will be on there.
