Well done Kaia.
Re your settlement and the 8% apr
I thought I had read you took your loan out in 2000 so surely your interest is 8% apr from 2000, 8 years not 5? After all you have been without that money for 8 years? If I have this wrong then sorry..

I want to be fully informed before I sign anything.
Thanks for you support as always Marshallka. x x x:A0 -
Hi Kaia did that in excell hence fomat!! will be happy to email to you the spreadsheet but am certain if your loan was taken out in 2000 then your ineterst of 8% apr is wrong over 8 years..

Kaia, I'm still new to all this and still at the start of the process of reclaiming (have sent off my 1st letter), maybe you should ask yourself why they are so eager to settle before Mon? hope you asked for everything! if not maybe that's why they are so eager and they know that if it goes to court they will end up having to pay you a lot more. Keep smiling though - they all know they've done wrong and do their damdest to get away with it - in my books the offer is an admission of guilt (but maybe that's just me). Keep yer chin up i'm sure it will all come good in the end, everyone on here is great and i'm 100% positive that they won't let you get ripped off (anymore).;)LTSB PPI - £770 ish for dad
LTSB PPI for dad - £1800 for dad
Barclays PPI claim for self-£2204
Dads home insurance - reduced by £200 a year "WE DO NOT LIVE IN FLOOD AREA AND I DON'T SEE WHY WE SHOULD PAY FOR THOSE THAT DO - I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR"!0 -

Thats right,I just wanted to double check with everyone on here, just to make sure I get it right, as they want me to accept today.
Great news, but not sure what happens after as my loan is still active....and I will be wanting to settle and get a better interest rate and possibly over a shorter period of time to become debt free sooner
Thanks for your support. x x x0 -

They are interested to hear peoples stories....so everyone send in your complaint! Inundate them, so they stop and listen!
If you’ve been let down or ripped off by a PPI policy, then email PPI@cc.gsi.gov.uk or write to:

Can anyone please give me some info on what the FSA says about telephone and internet Loan/PPI applications? I read something about it on this forum sometime ago but cannot for the life of me find it now. I have trawled thru all the pages but no joy!!! Help please!!!!!0
