First of all thanks to Di and Marshallka for the kind comments earlier - have not been on for a few days due to bad headaches.
Anyway today I have received two letters from FO and I'm now more confused than ever how they prioritise their cases! I always thought it was the order in which they were received but one is about my Lloyds cc being past to an adjudicator and I have had other complaints in before that one.
However both letters are now asking for further info if there is any and do I have important changes in my personal circumstances - and then they will be back in touch within two months.
Sounds like there may be several different factors that get taken into consideration before complaints get assigned.0 -

Hi there angelwillow
I do hope your feeling a lot better now, headaches are not nice..... , good to see you back though.;)
I was thinking, as they split these cases up anyway, maybe they are checked through to see which ones they think they can deal with quicker first, as regarding Lloyds I have been told by some people, these can be dealt with a lot quicker than other finance companies, although my case about Lloyds has been with an adjudicator for a few weeks now, and just waiting to hear the outcome of this.
Please don't bank on my answer though hun but maybe they split these complaints and then it depends who gets their hands on them first, if you know what I mean.
If you don't mind me asking how long as these complaints been in with the FOS
And did you request for fast track on any of them ?
If so did you request for them all to be fast tracked or just some of them ?
Cheers hun.;) xxThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
My Lloyds cc has been since April and my loan one since July (that's the two I've had letters about today). Haven't asked for fast track as when I mentioned it she told me it was only if I was going to lose my house or if I was dying! So I guess my high bp treatment doesn't count.
Had two others in since March - Capital One and Barclaycard - with no word as yet.0 -

I see, thanks hun.;)
I was thinking, if you have not heard anything or any updates of the others, maybe you could contact/email them just to find out the update on those, maybe these are waiting to be allocating to someone who deals directly with these other companies, not certain.
We have a few in with the FOS between me and hubby, about 5 altogether, my Lloyds CC ppi complaint is the one actually with the adjudicator right now, so that is why I thought perhaps Lloyds are generally quicker to deal with, I could be wrong.
I would though as I said above contact them about the others just to find out if they have progressed any further yet, just in case.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Gonna get the ironing done, back soon.......:D
