I have just been reading everyone's comments and I am very touched at how many of you have mentioned the tragic events that occured on Satutrday that has ruined so many lives.
I am the mother and wife of the other 3 passengers that were in the car and would like to thank you all for your comments.
The boys were all so excited about going to Silverstone, had been looking forward to it for weeks, I wish I had never gotten them their tickets.

Thank you to all for your good wishes, which I will pass on to Amanda & Phil, Lisa Bennett xxx

    Lisa,

We heard about the tragedy on Sunday but didn't realise until last night that the incident was connected to the Silverstone weekend. You cannot blame yourself for what happened, however hard that is to believe right now.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you.

Heartfelt sympathies to you all. Its such a tragic and needless loss of 2 beautiful young lives. There but for the grace of god etc. It looks as if the blame will lie squarley with 1 person, and not yourself. But I know that wont make the pain any easier to bear. Let us all know if we can help in any way shape or form. God Bless

I've just looked on the site and there is no mention of the Renaults coming back to UK this year, let alone Donington. I think earlier in the thread someone must have been looking at a page that was cached from last year as that's where they were last year.

I agree, great weekend and would do again, but please, please remember sunscreen, still recovering!

Sincerest heartfelt thoughts and condolences to the family and friends of the two little boys. From what I've seen and read they looked like such happy beautiful boys, full of life. It is so tragic. RIP.

We didnt go as my husband had to work in the end, however my friends went and had a great time.

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to the families involved in that terrible accident, what an awful awful thing to happen to such a young family. My thoughts are with you.
