John - why do you persist with this charade?

Ok, this time you weren't stupid enough to sign on with a username that could be linked directly to you and your company, and perhaps you went to a public library so that the IP address would not lead back to you.

But be realistic - who is going to believe a glowing testimonial from someone who joined up a few days ago, when you already appear to have a history of planting reviews?
  • for every negative there is a positive, shame it is not you, by the way who the hell is John, everyone has to join sometime. I do not work for the company, in fact I am retired, and I hink even you will agree that living in North Yorkshire would be a very long bus ride to work for Cheapelectricals, besides I would'nt be able to go home for lunch.

I stand by what I said 5 stars.

Ah well, if you read the thread you will find that John is AKA knightrideruk who posted a positive review of the aforementioned company.

Strange thing is John either owns or works for this company, he also posted a glowing review back in 2008 on MSE about his company using the same alias.

Her's the one from 2008 and the other recently from this thread.
Thought I'd keep them for posterity just in case ;)

Came across this post, I have recently had dealings with this company as I wished to replace my TV. Their price was the cheapest I could find, I placed my order on a Friday and the new TV was delivered on the Monday. I have since bought a DVD recorder with the same service. Highly recommended.:j

    Hi Pete

Used them twice this year, great prices and prompt delivery, you could do worse.

    Great service from

This is pathetic. Come on... who writes this way? Great company? You know this from a single purchase?
This is clearly another bogus review.
I'm sure the reason the reason why you have written the name of the company more than once in your 'review' is that it will come up in searches as a positive review. But it isn't. It's just another 'planted' review. Dodgy.
For these reasons alone I would avoid any dealings with this company.

I think you should check out or join Mark at the site above, just for you I will not mention "the company" but I think it is very sad that when someone has a positve experience no one wants to listen, anything bad always gets the biggest headlines. Black and white are two different colours, thankfully some of us can see that.

it is really shameless people with 4 maybe 5 posts, can leave such glowing reviews same really as someone only coming onto slag people off when they have dug up an old post from 2years ago not really relevant to now, also i didn't see when they ' had ' there bad experience either? and if i had such an issue with them i would be taking them to the small claims court for the missing £60 quid as well. and not working for mcains issue and at the moment its not all good lol :)

How many posts must one have before they can join this obviously elite club of the free voice?
Never mind I shall take your suggestion and leave, happy in the knowledge that I have an open mind.
