Did you not see the bit I added on ? I edited my post to add I may have worded it wrong "but you get my drift". I did this because I realised after I posted that I had worded it wrong and the site was not about making money.

So again I ask you because you didnt answer my question: Are you telling me that if you are in town and saw a great bargain that you knew you could make money with you would not do it because you are screwing others ?

    Yeah right.....ok.

If I came across a bargain, I might avail myself of one or two (depending on what it was and its use) and tip off others who might be interested.

What I would not do is clear out the shop and put them all on ebay.

I was under the impression this was not in the "spirit" of MSE.

But perhaps I've been mistaken about what the spirit of MSE actually is.

    Hi, Dadada and Eagle_1.

Surely the thing here is that we ain't getting the 49p tellys?

Whilst you both are coming at this from different angles, at the risk of being told to insert this post up my rect*m, (touch of the Donnie Darko's!), let's get back to finding deals and posting them - and not waste our energy! Beers all round, I think........

Suggest you keep looking then! Although I haven't had my cancellation emails yet (from Argos or Homebase).

I do find these mis-prices fun sometimes, you place your bet and hope to win but if you don't you get your stake back.
I have been lucky a few times though. I got the Dell photo printer, the HP printer, the tft monitor (Argos) countless items on Boots.com, the Gamecube from Woolies, the Sagem phone and music system Woolies again and my best yet has to be a portable dvd player for £4.95 from Toysrus.
    Good luck everyone.

I got my confirmation email at 10.40 am Saturday morning and the money has been taken off my card.( not being reserved for payment) I presume they will refund me tomorrow. I have not had an email to say it is cancelled either. Oh what a pickle Argos have got themselves into. I must admit I ordered it for the fun of it and didn't think for one minute I would get this for 49p but we can Dream, I have had a laugh over the weekend about this and the suspense is killing me. :j
