Elvis you are a doom spreader,have you not heard of the word FUN,you will be as sick as a parrott if we all get our 0.49p telly.
I am going to contact CAB to see how we fare on this one,free advice from Solicitors there.

As far as Im aware, the "real legal situation" is called something like "offer to treat" and acceptance of the offer. If I offer them money, they dont have to accept my offer for their telly. However if they accept my offer and take my money, they then owe me a telly.

No, they've reserved it in your account, which they are quite entitled to do. This will become un-reserved in 7 days time or whenever they decline to accept the order, whichever is sooner.
