i do the reductions for the counters at our store and bye putting stuff back where it belongs has saved us a lot of money in waste & reductions.
i was sent home a few weeks ago for telling a customer who just kept mithering and mithering for me to reduce things, including stuff that wasn't my department or even due for reduction, to f|_|ck off and leave me alone. she does it EVERY week and follows me around the store, sometimes for up to 3 hours, hovering around me even when i dont have a pricing gun. some people can get VERY pressuring when they want to save a few pennies.
The things people will do to save a few pence is ridiculous. I work on the clothes section at M&S and people will study clothes, find perhaps a stitch that is wonky and will hound you to reduce it. Ridiculous.Dooyoo £10.40/40, TopCashBack £17.19/30, Valued Opinions 50p/£10, Swagbucks 0/£20, Ebay £15/£250 -

I picked up a 1l bottle of organic S/S milk which was reduced and I asked why the 3l one with the same date was not. I was told (by a manger) that none of them should be reduced as they all go back to the producer if they go out of date. (They nicely let me keep the one I had in my trolley, but the rest on the shelf had their whoops stickers removed).
Maybe this happens more often now??

Asda - Walton still have the whoopsie chiller, I got loads of meat from there the other day. Watch the date on the milk, cos mum bought one and it was off so she went back and bought another one and that was also off, when she checked the s-b-d it was 3 days over - and that was normal priced, not whoopsed.0
