I've ordered from argos a few times and have never had a order comfirmation from them - not even in the junk mail!
I make my order and the courier guy just arrives within a week.
I dont think I will want to contact them on this one though, I'll just wait patientley and fingers cross there will be a knock at the door with someone holding my bush tv!!!0 -
I got the error as above. IF you try the link now it doesnt work and it says the item is unavailable0

Tells me there is a problem with the link  Good luck to those who managed to order![0

I've ordered one. As tempted as I am to order load I won't.
If they ring up to tell me it's a misprice I'll tell them that I will be in contact with my local citizens' advice bureau and/or Trading Standards. I don't pretend to understand the law, but they do and will know whether the terms and conditions are legal or not.
Maybe they'll give me it to avoid the bother of dealing with Trading Standards. If not, I'll definitely be calling them.

I wonder how many orders they've received? Bet this offer has been on loads of forums!!
Maybe they'll offer some kind of price reduction. Even if they dont, I wont be pursuing it. 49p is just ridiculous!!Auntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0 -

TBH i don't think threatening them with Trading Standards would do anything. You'd be hard pushed to convince a court you genuinely believed the price was the correct price. If they honour it great, but if not, i don't see any point in pursuing.:rudolf:0
