what are the chances that they would make us pay the full price?

None whatsoever. That would be definitely breaking the law.

i dont think phoning them is wise, as it will alert them to it.

I think thousands of orders for one particular TV in the space of a couple of hours might just have done that already :rotfl:

Anyone reading a thread like this in the future!!

Unplug your phone if you get the urge to phone up and ask about an error.

Being as it's a bank holiday weekend I think we would have had a chance, but once someone phones up they get alerted.

This is better than the chicken, cheese and bacon joint that i got this week free from Tesco.

    Got my confirmation e-mail.

Do you think concealing the TV order within a larger order may allow it to slip through the net?
For example, order a load of items that you really want or need.

    Does that make sense?!?
if i had known then what i know now
  • hi i am new to this site,

whats there to lose if they dont honour it they cancel the order and if taken the money refund it.. ive never known them to charge the full amount if its been a misprice..

  • I remember the 11p jeans with Additions - they confirmed them at 11p all the way through then tried to make me pay £11 a pair - I'd already given them away by then and couldn't send them back so I said fine we'll go to court on as every bit of paper and saved webpages you have 11p, they decided not to go ahead and let me have them at 11p. Good lcuk with the TV's!

I did that on a Amazon error and got a free wireless adaptor worth £50, being greedy just ruins it for everyone as it highlights the error.

    EDIT:

And I had to wait two weeks for it to come in stock and I still got it.

If you not in you can't win.
