Wow vanilla, I didn't think you would have it done that quickly, can you come and do mine that quick? I'll promise to make dinner and actually do it! Well done you!!!

:rotfl: as soon as I seen the comment about maltesers I thought TWINS :rotfl: I am another Morten fan, so much so as a child my Dad would tease me loads about it. I had posters across my bedroom inc on my ceiling.....which one night fell on me and I screamed :o I was only about 9 I think.

Oh Lisa, Sunday night usually....link for it will be posted in this thread so noone gets lost

Happy bithday to Tia's DS :D even if he is a ikkle sod :rotfl: they're the ones we know were born to keep us on our toes!

embb if you're looking into buying your house be careful not to do too much to improve it, my friend spent a fortune on bathroom, kitchen, fitted wardrobes etc before she bought hers and they charged her for them in the valuation!

Right today - utility cleaned and tidied, set a new bribe system to increase boys fruit/veg intake, kitchen tidied and cleaned, boys bedrooms finished (apart from remaking DS2s bed which I will do soon) 6th laundry load in, gate fastener made (because dog keeps jumping over!) garden tidied, recycling sorted, conservatory and dining room untouched......need to get the laundry in that's on the line, which is probably not dry.
One day I might be more organised...........

ebay? sold something last weekend, no payment, I've sent invoice and 2 emails over the week - not heard a thing. Only for a few £ so how long do I wait? Do I report as non-payment or relist in a week? Buyer has lots of good feedback.

I have a similar problem, but slightly different problem Dusty. Exactly the same as you - sold something last weekend and invoiced but not a peep. Sent them a little reminder nudge today but I've a funny feeling about this one. Their feedback count is a precise 1 (and it was positive) and that was from a couple of years ago so I'm not getting my hopes up. I don't think I can even be bothered to go through the dispute bit.

Well done Vanilla - I think we both did well today.

Right, I shamed myself with those photos this morning and resolved not to post on here until all is sorted - well as sorted as it can be without a trip to the dump or a massive ebay spree and sell. The after pix are below. ORF ops - the yellow ring in the fourth pic outlines Buster  .

Pigpen - do I get a dog biscuit?

    Evening.

Think I did really well at the NCT sale, I did not have to bring back loads - just one box full, I'll put that in the loft and start collecting again for the autumn one - funny stuff that did not sell last time did this time. Just takes about a fortnight to get the cheque through.

Neither DS has got footie tomorrow now which will be lovely for me. Big one just gone to my Mum's for the night, think I'll get the other two ready for bed soon and then sort through the massive pile of paperwork on my desk this evening. Time for a little glass of wine.

lol sounds just like my bedroom. Mum didn't need to decorate. Wall to ceiling to wall posters here as well!

Mmmmm well no I didn't go and buy the maltesers but......... A brought a bag of them home from Nannies last night. Just wondering if I could 'borrow' them tonight :o:rotfl::rolleyes:

Flicked through the channels and settled on Homes Under The Hammer - but I'm fidgety and can't sit still, I really wanted to watch a really good Time Team or a historical docu but there's none on typical

The girls are upstairs flicking through books/annuals and I'm just about to put their tea out, they weren't hungry earlier cause of the chips lol...I've put a cardi on cause I'm freezing at the minute (I was dressed like it was the middle of summer) and playing some choons on the pc.

Lil_me I've already had the valuation back at £52,300 council value at £67k a discount of £14k for me, the selling price for this house on the open market would be around £90k so there's quite a lot of equity in it already, well, if I decided to buy, which I am lol I'd be a fool not to, but I'm not looking at bathrooms for this house I have my sights on a big one that me and OH will buy together in the future. Possibly. We have plans anyway lol

    Well done soappie. woot!

    Hi

I have a peaceful house for once :j Ds2 is in bed, OH has taken the boys to Tesco, one of the girls is on a school trip and the other one is staying at a friends. So i have about an hour of peace and quiet.

I took all the extras and Dcc's off my list, as my tummy's still a bit dodgy i thought i'd not push myself too hard;) .

So my list to be done by Monday looks something like this.

Sort junk on table, File paperwork and give it a good scrub.
    Sort money.
    [STRIKE]Mend trousers[/STRIKE]
    Menu plan
Find the bottom of the ironing basket ( it is there somewhere i'm sure i saw it once;) )
    Pair socks:eek:
    Polish shoes.
Tidy, wipe sides, hoover and mop utility room.

Well done to Sopppie and Vanilla:j

    Happy Birthday to Tia's Ds:j

Thanks everyone, it really took all day except for 2 coffee breaks needed something to keep my energy up.:rotfl:

Soappie your front room looks great, well done.:T

(Wow vanilla, I didn't think you would have it done that quickly, can you come and do mine that quick? I'll promise to make dinner and actually do it! Well done you!!! ) Lil-me that so made me laugh:rotfl:

Still haven't found my necklace and it's really annoying me because i never leave it lying about, suppose it's motavation to clean the rest of the house.

Dinner ate and have cut, washed and straightened sisters hair as she's heading out tonight.

Plan now to get kiddies to bed and start the livingroom, it's a real mess today. Will update when i've finished and OH can help as punishment for no dinner.;)
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Posting quick before I get logged out.

Went into M&S to get some over priced over advertised walnut whips to cheer me and OH up. Walked past a stand with cake mix on - just add butter, milk and eggs. Oh, I thought, M&S over priced over advertised cake mix, then I thought - It's a Victoria Sponge. Take away the butter, milk & eggs and what is left? I'm glad I didn't look at the price. I think I would probably have passed out.

(BTW M&S Walnut Whips are nicer than Rowntrees and when you get a box of eight work out at 25p each - or 50p per night for a treat for me and OH. :o)
    Always another chapter
