Funny.. my hubby says that to me too..
AND.. my buggy is broken.. so I have a choice.. walk tiddles to and from nursery.. 2 school runs a day with her walking should take about 15 years!!
shall I buy a new (to me) one? Bear in mind I use this every day.. she is a good little walker but so infernally slow and I'm always running.. I don't think I can cope without one... she is 3.5 so it wouldn't be for much longer in theory.. but the nasty weather.. and I'm infernally lazy.. and the puddles.. and I am lazy.. and always late.. have I answered my own question?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

tia you make me laugh. If you had the 25k salary you wouldn't have time to do up the house. Or have time to fly properly in it. And trust me, there would not be much money left after paying for childcare and the bigger bills. More money does not make life easier.
Did you not know, I live in lala land where I can dream still!been there done it, wished I was here, now I'm here wish I was there.

Pigpen, PTS after DS2 and I would never do it agian. How did you manage?
We took the kids out. We veiwed the house. I went out so DH would put the kids to bed and tidy up (as his mate is now here) which was really sneaker and clever of me. We have to talk about the house... but I'm thinking no and not till I have 'done college'. Just too much to do. Plus, we could afford the larger morgage no problem but we couldnt afford all theextra that we can right now.0 -

Mudbath IIRC 4 weeks was how long it took to get DSs Gameboy SP back, Nintendo usually are really good, Sony are aswell they sent DP a replacement PS3 the next day when his went off.
Soappie, well done
jjef hope you get the PC issue sorted soon
dinx1972, can I ask, are you only ironing what needs to be? Ok my partner doesn't wear shirts for work most days but I haven't done that amount of ironing in 6 months never mind a couple of days! Like Dusty I don't think we have that many clothes :rotfl:
Dusty with the TV, you can limit without having to intensively monitor if they would go through a TV guide and choose in advance what they watch for their time. Then they could write down what they choose to watch and when.
Johanne, still hanging in there honey? Well it's not Friday yet
chunky, so pleased when I read how much this thread helps other people, well done!
JillD pleased you had a good holiday!Booohooo Simon's out on The Apprentice I really liked Simon! I don't think I will enjoy it much less now. I wanted to just hug him, they were horrible to him, he was the only TRUE person on there! Ok moan over.
Well we took the assignment, then went to Durham on the way home. Went up to the Cathedral and had a look around with the boys (of course MSE as it was 4pm no parking fees or road toll and the cafe etc was closed) then for a walk down the riverside (how many chuffing hills and steps???!!!) they took some photos with Dad's camera, just basically spending time out and about just us as a family. Not so MSE I went and got fish and chips on the way home, nice cosy slobby night in watching the Bee movie. Really enjoyed it but worn out now.
Right well this is the first time I have missed doing my bed linen on a Wednesday, I'm making no excuses, I forgot to do it. Of course it's on tomorrows list and it will get stripped in the morning, straight in the washing machine, then we're off to the Alan Shearer centre ( http://www.alanshearercentre.org.uk/facilities-activity_centre.htm never been before but looks great!) for a few hours more quality family time, call in at the Metro Centre on the way back, take the boys to get their hair cut etc so pretty much a hectic day.One day I might be more organised...........
