only spent £20.92 this week for the four of us, most of that on fruit and veg. woohoo, all going well so far.0 -
Actually went to Tesco today (rather than on-line) as needed to use my clubcard vouchers - can't on-line! (Have registered for evouchers in future!)
Spent £62.20 (after vouchers) today, but did get contact lens solution (about £4.60) and BIG box of washing powder (will last me for ages!) Leaves me with £119.74 for rest of month - should come in under budget (hopefully) this month!!!!:j20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Hi all
Well....I've got a bit lost with my challenge this month! I said that I would get cash out each week and I haven't
I haven't planned v well either
We decided to buy more organic produce and I can't believe how much more expensive it is....the other day I was in Asda and I bought an organic cucumber for £1.09 when the ones next to it were 48p! I was kicking myself on the way out...:D So, I've decided to buy organic meat/poultry & dairy and be selective about everything else. I have a feeling that we may come in *around* budget tho....we'll see! I really wish I'd discovered this site about 20 years ago.....
Ho hum.....:rolleyes:Owned by [STRIKE]4[/STRIKE] 4 cats: 2 x Maine coon cross males, 1 x Pixie Bob male and[STRIKE] 2[/STRIKE] 1 x Norwegian Forest male....cute!

Petal - I completely sympathise - I'm in the same boat!
I think I was aiming for about $350 for food/groceries for 2 adults, 16 yr old & 13 yr old, but it's looking a bit glum just now!
However, I did have to pay out road tax for 2 cars, MOT & service for mine - total of approx £400 - ouch! - plus haircut for self, coat for son.
But I have baked this week, stopped buying biscuits ages ago, home made nicer and cheaper, & had some free veg from next door & from own bramble bush.
So I'm trying to be good - please help!October 2025 GC £36.83/£400
