50% discount on rail travel

Received my tickets this morning. They are 'Std Saver' tickets and there is no mention on either the tickets or the payment voucher that a 50% discount has been applied. The gross amount is shown.

Therefore AFAICS there should be no problem with a ticket inspection, if that is what you are thinking.

One thing you could try is emptying your cache and deleting your cookies.

You can do this by clicking on "Tools" in the grey menu bar at the top of your screen, then selecting "Internet Options..." and clicking on "Delete Cookies" and "Delete Files". This will have the effect of resetting your internet explorer so that the FirstScotRail site will not remember your details and you can try booking a journey from scratch.

This will not harm your PC in any way - if anything, it may speed it up a little!

I hope this helps - if not, just keep trying... my guess is that the site is quite busy!

Okay brought them this morning, after loads of credit card authorisation problems, got my Fast Ticket reference number. Went to the station 8 hours after I brought them - reference number invalid??? I'll try again tomorrow but that's bad!
