Then you may as well save yourself £6/month.
I'm not with them but I'm about to get my MAC to migrate to them. Daughter has been with them for 2yrs and a friend for a year and both are extremely happy.

Hope your experience is as good as mine has been!
Get your daughter or friend to refer you and they will get a bit off their monthly connection fee.

Deferred setup costs repayment here -

    http://www.plus.net/info2/legal/tandcarchive/280405-240805/contract_periods.html

At the bottom under 'Free Set-up Promotion', £83.75 during the first year, reducing by £16.75 each year to £0 after 5 years.

Considering most people now are migrating, the setup and modem costs don,t apply.

There is usually a cost for migration, or it is deferred. My own ISP charges £50 for a migration in...

and you still got to pay PN to get out.

From the PlusNet website:- It is free to move to a service based on your existing BT product type.

And if you're not satisfied, we'll even pay for you to leave under the PlusNet Guarantee.

Can't argue with that, but it only applies for the first 45 days.

Even the free migration into PN is a deferred deal, if you leave within 12 months you have to pay £14.99.

Considerably less than with your current provider though. :D

Anyway, we could go on all night like this but I gotta get to bed and when I get up tomorrow I think I'll still be going to migrate to PlusNet........;)

You're right there, but then I'm not migrating... ;)

I had a good read through the ADSLguide message boards last night. There are a LOT of unhappy bunnies with this ISP at the moment. Have a look yourselves.

    Find the Plusnet board HERE

Out of interest, I also had a read through the board for my ISP (Zen). I had to laugh. Seeing as we have nothing to complain about (Zen are a top quality ISP) the main subjects on the Zen board are Zen coffee mugs and baked beans. Someone even started a thread complaining that Zen are boring because we have no complaints!
