The time was 5.51pm when i went through the till. Thanks for letting me know i did get the right one though.
  • not lucky for me as I went to Tesco in Parrswood and there was only one Nivea pack left on the shelf :(. I'm sure it was left as someone couldn't use it as BOGOF items :( Will try again today, anyone knows if they replenish the shelves over night?
    Titch :)
  • look away from the special offer display on the end of aisle

there were still plenty if niveas left at Leyland today, but only one on the special offer display
  • How much have we cost Tesco with all our freebies?
Well, 30,000 have visited the thread at, say, an average
take of £100 to date. So about £3m in cash returned plus
10 or 20% for the costprice plus, not forgetting, about £3m
in points. But Tesco's profit last year was £1.1bn so we have
relieved Mr.T of about 2 days trading profit.
More importantly, is the fact that consumers can get their own
back at Mr.T's overpriced, overpackaged and poor quality products.
I guess for the future Tesco will be fair game.
  • Tesco's last night, OH spotted Finest Rump Steak @ £9.49 per kg on shelf, £10.49 per kg on pack. Only one on display, but still worth the £4.24 refund.
Sainsbury's this lunchtime, Nestle Triple Berry Shreeded Wheat @ £2.32, BOGOF, with Joeys, so bought four of them.
Shopping has never been so profitable!

At Middlebrook, the Nivea products are on an end stand, but they've removed the BOGOF tickets. BUT, the BOGIF ticket is still on the shelf in the normal place (although no products there) - very clever, Mr T. Still thought I'd give it a go, and it worked - still 4 for £2!!!!!

Got some Joeys at Somerfield - on Fruitful - with a special pack price of £1.49 too.
  • Made the classic mistake today  . Won't do this again! Gammon joints were £8.28 on pack, £7.97 on shelf. Gaily went through the checkout with two of them, strode towards CS with goods and receipt in hand, glanced at the receipt and, of course, theye'd gone through the till at £7.97. D'oh!

Oh well, at least I used my first Joey
  • Got 4 more nivea today, All Gammon was priced wrong, but i did check at the price checker and they have all now been corrected.

Cd's had no price about it.

Never mind thought. Tomorrow is another day.

Sorry, it was me! I bought four yesterday.

Certainly worth a try, but they obviously didn't put any more out last night, if there was only one left. It might be worth asking if they have any in the back. The staff in Didsbury are usually extremely helpful!

Also, if your using the self service tills be careful with your vouchers! They will only take 10% off the value of your purchases. I spent just over £10 and put a £3 voucher through and had to call for assistance. The member of staff explained that I could only use vouchers up to £1 on my £10 spend. However, she was so pleasant that I didn't feel too embarrassed!
