Just an idea I used today. I picked up two of the Healthy Eating Mature Cheddar, price on the pkt was £2.29 and on the shelf £2.19. I noticed as it was going through that it was scanning at the lower price, so I just asked if they had gone through as BOGOF. She obviously said no, so I asked if I could leave them as I must have picked up the wrong pkts.
We don't have a scanner at our store so can't use that method. Got the shower gels, thanks to whoever posted that thread. :T

Super day today, usual suspects, bacon, cheese, salmon, steak, duck, etc, plenty of nivea (4 for £2), plenty joey's used. many padders (BOGOFs).

CS variable, from very good (could you go down a get me one), to very evasive (policy has expired, doesn't have oak on the label, give you the difference, etc  ).

Got all my refunds, multiple stores, paid for my new freezer in a single day. :D:D  :j

Our Tesco manager must be reading this thread as there were no misprices in store today :(. Oh, apart from Weight Watchers cheese, but I don't particularly like it so didn't bother. Even the CDs were correct (well, shelf prices were the higher ones).

The Nivea thing worked though! :D They were out of the shower cremes, or whatever, so had to go for the Rice and lotus or whatever it is, and it worked. Thanks OP :)

I think he means buy some normall items so it does not look to suspicious.

Padders are normal items (preferably BOGOF, or even better BOGOF nivea which takes off more than BOGOF), used to PAD the receipt to make it kind of less obvious, than just going down to the CS with a trolley full of mispriced slamon and nothing else. :D:D:D

Hope mine ain't !! :D it'll give him a heart-attack, ;) and he has been so kind in allowing his staff to constantly mess things up, without bringing them to book !! :rotfl: :rotfl:

A quick message for fellow MSE's out there who have BRAZILIAN SIRLOIN STEAK PACKS lurking in the freezer.
Got pack out of freezer and cooked it last night for OH's tea only to have him declare it smelled funny [and not ha ha]. As I hade paid cash money for this pack [I know I was slipping that day] took it back to CS only yo be told it was OUT OF DATE. Duly explained that although I bought it on 10th July I froze the product on day of purchase as pack stated suitable for home freezing. Back came the answer its out of date read the back of the pack where it states it can only be frozen for one month!!!!! so not Tesco's fault. Wasn't amused as had three steaks left in pack. Asked why the pack says BIGGER PACK BETTER VALUE when in fact it has a VERY SHORT SHELF/FREEZER LIFE and smaller packs all carry suitable home freezing, see freezer manufacturer recomendation [10-12 months for beef for my new freezer] was it because it was an inferior. At that they grudingly gave me a partial refund for the 3 steaks and said they would send them away. NOT A HAPPY BUNNY so fired an email to Tesco when I got home.
