No service from e7even this morning.

Does anyone know why e7even failed us this morning?

    Yes, they've had some sort of a problem with the BT Network connecting to them which they are working on with BT engineers.

    My connection was re-established about 1 hour ago others are getting back online gradually, you should be back on soon.

    Thanks Dave, ok now. How did you know what was happening?. I reckon it would be a good idea if each person new someone else on the same isp that they could call, simply to determine what had happened in the even of no service.

    I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that if "you are down" Mike, how are you getting here?.

    We resumed about 2ish then by 3.30pm it had gone again.

    Ours is still down apparently. I'm connected at work (hence being able to post here!)

    We've only just joined E7even and I didn't even know the migration had taken place until this morning when it didn't work!

    As I sit here pondering, I wonder why is this day & age, when an ISP knows in advance they are likely to be unavailable for periods and that users are likely to be confused or at the worst, distressed thinking their computers might have developed a problem, why they can't hit a "send" button and inform all their users that service might be interupted.

    Alternatively, afterwards, an acknowledgment for inconvenience.

    You do get this with Metronet. Usually when a service disappears there is no way an isp can tell you because its gone and you are not connected. We're all in the hands of good old B.T.
