Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

Saw Superhero Movie this morning at Cineworld West India Quay. First free film I have seen in a while. I think it was fairly well attended, about 60-70% full from what I could tell.

Not really my type of film, it was funny in parts but definitely not something I would have paid to see. I'd give it a 5/10.

This is a strange request I know but I am looking for anyone who won the sex in the city goody bags and am wondering if anyone needs a home for their gift bag (not the proper handbag). My daughter is having a "Spa Day" as a birthday party with eight friends and the bags would be great for the goodies we are giving them at the end of the day. I will of course meet any postage costs of getting them to me.

Saw Superhero movie this morning. We all enjoyed it with some very funny moments in it. It was completely over the top. Lesley Nielson was brilliant in it. It was a very enjoyable film that had us all laughing out socks off. 7.5/10

Just managed to get some tickets for Edinburgh is having been shown as "SOLD OUT" all last week.

It may be worth a revist if you still need/want tickets.

Don't know if anyone can help but I received an insider club email for a screening of Gone Baby Gone at Showcase Manchester tomorrow night but when I click on the link to print the tickets they are for Showcase Coventry (my 2nd choice cinema). I want to go and see it in Manchester so was wondering whether I'd be ok to just print the email out rather than the ticket (or print both out and try and explain it to them if they ask)? They both have the same membership number on and I have my card but I've never been to the Showcase screenings before so I don't know how fussy they are?

There shouldn't be a problem as they just take your printout, write down your membership number and give you tickets. I ve been a few times to showcase and they're fine.

Congratulations to all the SATC ticket winners! :T I've been offline for a few days so I've only just seen your posts. Good to see so many of you have won, and especially nice that one of you won the £200 prize. Those goodie bags sound fab!
