The goody bag was pretty good as you got a bottle of SJP's perfume, a handbag, a mascara, shampoo, conditioner and a copy of look magazine. Luckily each competition winner got two so you didn't need to fight over it. My daughter was especially pleased about this.
The fashion show was a bit pointless - it only lasted ten minutes and at least two of the models looked as if they wished they were somewhere else.
And the worse thing........ over half an hour of adverts and trailers before the film started. Oh for the joys of a free screenings........
The film itself was pretty good - definitely for the girls. It is just a longer than usual episode of the programme and just ties up everything so all the girls end up happy. I won't spoil the plotline for anyone but you do know how it will end for all the girls.
Probably a 5/10 for non-fans and a 8/10 for fans.
That was a great goodie bag, was wondering if they would give 2, would have been a bit unfair if they didn't.
Glad you had a good time.0 -

Just back home from Mongol at the Empire Leicester Square.
It had subtitles which I hadn't realised before we went but it didn't matter too much. My son enjoyed the film more than me as there was a lot of fighting and battling going on. I'm not sure if the story was accurate though as Ghengis Khan was portrayed as a really nice hero and although I don't know much about him I'd previously thought that he was a baddie warlord who commited atrocities.
We gave it 6/10 almost a 7.:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0 -

Returned from seeing Mongol at the Empire Leicester Square. The (admittedly rather small) screen was 98% full, and I give it 8/10. The landscape was amazing but after 2 hours I still wasn't sure how exactly he got to be so powerful - they concentrated on the early years and left that part out, LOL.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Saw this today and there were only about 20 odd people there.
They've crammed it with as many jokes as they can and there were some good funnies.
It's based loosely on the Spiderman story but with a different superhero. It's an average film with nothing new. I wouldn't recommend seeing it in the cinema maybe more a dvd rental. Had a cameo done nicely by Brent Spinner and a role by Leslie Nielsen to add to the gags.
