Just a quick update re post above about Cambridge Arts Picturehouse - I emailed them & tonight's screening of Priceless at 6.30pm IS definitely still on.

Thanks Chas. I wish I had spotted this earlier. I'm really miffed about this as I asked and checked the programme...

I think there is a difference between posting spare tickets on the codes thread or just thanks for codes, chit chat / other matters- I think, as you do that they are free tickets and can be posted on that thread- not everyone feels that way-I get the ache with non-code/ticket related postings only because my inbox ends up full of alerts but no codes or tickets available.

Yeh me - I just had a telephone call to say I was a runner up in a "Sex in the City" competition. Not the winner I know but I do get free tickets, a fashion show and a goody bag worth £60 so can't complain!!!

All I have to do now is keep the goody bag out of the clutches of my daughter!!!!!!

did anyone get a call from them again to say that the show has been set back til 8.30pm (this is for the cineworld in wandsworth)??

Can I suggest that this thread gets stickied next to the codes thread? Hopefully that will help people to place their posts in the right place.

It has been suggested a few times, I think it would be great.

Went to the screening last night at Wandsworth as a competition winner.

The goody bag was pretty good as you got a bottle of SJP's perfume, a handbag, a mascara, shampoo, conditioner and a copy of look magazine. Luckily each competition winner got two so you didn't need to fight over it. My daughter was especially pleased about this.

The fashion show was a bit pointless - it only lasted ten minutes and at least two of the models looked as if they wished they were somewhere else.

And the worse thing........ over half an hour of adverts and trailers before the film started. Oh for the joys of a free screenings........

The film itself was pretty good - definitely for the girls. It is just a longer than usual episode of the programme and just ties up everything so all the girls end up happy. I won't spoil the plotline for anyone but you do know how it will end for all the girls.

    Probably a 5/10 for non-fans and a 8/10 for fans.
